Box Urban is an architecture and urban design practice at the forefront of quality space creation in Ireland. The practice was established in 2007 by Irish architect Da-vid Dwyer. Box Urban adopts a people centred approach to design, with an emphasis on sustainability; socially, economically and environmentally. We work with the clients and stakeholders to identify needs, aspirations and a vision in order to deliver quality in the built environment. We think globally and act locally. Box Urban is recognised as a leading design practice having won many national and international accolades and awards for completed projects.

サービス内容：

The success of Box Urban is achieved through a personal approach to understanding clients’ needs. Clients range from corporate bodies, community and government or-ganizations, to individuals in the fields of education, home creation, community facili-ties, social activity and urban design. The practice has undertaken a variety of pro-ject types including; urban interventions, apartment units, libraries, award-winning private commissions, corporate offices, crèches, housing developments, community and religious buildings. The boundaries between disciplines are varied. Box Urban has managed to keep its core focus on quality in design to engender a true sense of place.

When we first decided we were going to build our house I had lots of set ideas about what the house would look like, So when David came up with the design I was amazed, though it didn't look at all like what I initially had in mind, it was so much more. Living in our house, everyday the light and space really are magnified by the wonderful layout. Every room is bright and perfectly proportioned and the house has a lovely flow. David listened to and responded to our brief and the resulting home is a pleasure tor our our family to live in. David is a really nice, reserved and creative person, with real vision. It was a real pleasure for us to work with him.

Box Urban were fantastic to deal with. They made the whole process of a house renovation and extension smooth and easy and stress free. The design was brilliant, we have a small house and the use of space was excellent. We are really thrilled with the result and I cannot recommend Box Urban highly enough. I would also recommend anyone doing an extension or work to hire an architect as it takes a huge load off the client. We were consulted at every stage of the design process and costs were kept within budget. Really delighted with the whole experience.

When renovating our 1950’s home Box Urban helped us to make a radical change to create a new contemporary living space close to the city of Dublin. Our new space is open and bright and the combination of light from the floor to ceiling sliding doors and oak timber generates a relaxed ambiance for easy living, family gatherings and for celebrating special occasions. The sliding doors open on to a sunny patio that blends the seasonal colours in the garden into the living space.

David designed the most amazing new build family home for us. Box Urban understand how to design contemporary family homes of the highest architectural quality while all the time understanding how architecture has to be best suited to modern family living.
