Dan Jannenga of Michigan Remodeling lives in Portage, MI with his wife and two daughters. He has been in the construction trades since 1991. He has experience in school and hospital construction, hotel and office construction, single and multi-family new construction. "I choose to specialize in residential remodeling. I often find out that people love the area they are in, have great neighbors, and have created many memories in their existing home. I always feel honored when chosen to be the person that updates or expands that home to meet the individual or family's current needs." Do Not Use!!!! He took over half of the contract amount and walked away with the project not even close to being complete. He told me he used my funds to complete another project. Will not return calls. Again DO NOT USE!!

Dan took a 50% deposit on a bathroom remodel project that was supposed to start Mid November. He never started the project and has stopped returning our phone calls.

Dan from Michigan Remodeling did a great job on our new shaker style kitchen. It turned out exactly as we pictured in our heads. He was very easy to work with and took a lot of time to explain things and answer all of our question and he really listened to our concerns. He made sure we were totally satisfied with the project and bent over backwards to make us happy. He did a great job staying under budget and never batted an eye or complained when we kept adding little things here and there. We will definitely hire Dan again for future projects!

Michigan Remodeling did a wonderful job with the the entire remodeling process from start to finish. Our project was complicated and extensive, and owner, Dan Jannenga, gave so much of his time and dedication to our project making us feel at ease throughout the whole process. Dan along with his skilled group of subcontractors, together did fabulous job in making our house our dream home!

Dan, Michigan Remodeling, helped us remodel our basement in preparation for consolidating two families. His team did a great job of keeping things under budget, were respectful of our home, and completed the project ahead of schedule even after we threw a few curve balls at him. I highly recommend Dan and Michigan Remodeling. They framed, insulated, drywalled, installed a full bathroom and bedroom in the basement with a egress window and closet. Dan even installed a couple pet doors for us at no charge on his own time. Great guy, terrific work ethic and really appreciate this after having such a frustrating time getting other contractors to simply call us back.

I hired Dan Jannenga to finish my 1500 sq ft basement. The job was completed timely and within the agreed upon budget. Dan uses subcontractors that do great work and I've already asked him to quote my next home project!
