Cornerstone was a pleasure to work with on our demanding remodel! We took a 38 year-old-house and completely revitalized it. Cornerstone shared our visit as we reworked every aspect of the house including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, reconfiguring walls, a totally new kitchen, new floors, new finishes and so much more. They were punctual and neat. Martin and Shawna brought design skills that fit perfectly with our vision. Every one on the Cornerstone team — including all the sub-contractors— were professional in every way, knowledgeable, and very considerate. Martin helped ensure we got the best value for every dollar we spent, and Cornerstone held a demanding schedule. Karen made sure the billings were accurate and reflected the work done. On rare occasions when we had an issue, either Martin or Tim was on site immediately to resolve it. We have done several large renovations between California and Virginia, and Cornerstone was head and shoulders above them all! It was nice to see all the subs and workers went out of their way to be exceptionally attentive to the quality we needed because they knew this was “Martin’s job!” If we ever do another project, we will use Cornerstone in a heartbeat. We’ve been pleased with the quality and follow-up, and we’ve made friends for life.

We hired Cornerstone for a major renovation project beginning in the summer of 2016. The project included a kitchen expansion ('chef's kitchen'), an added master bath for a new 1st floor master suite with walk-in closet and washer/dryer, a new back entrance, mudroom and half bath, new windows throughout, front entrance with new trim, slate front stoop and lighting, new driveway with stone retaining wall and new patio. The work was top-notch, on-time, and they tracked the budget with precision as well as tracking our additions in change orders. They have a great crew that's a pleasure to work with and great subs who will go the extra mile when Cornerstone (and clients) need them. We even decided (toward the end of the project) to have them go ahead and renovate 2 more full baths in other parts of the house. After experiencing two major home renovations before this one, I have to say this was, by far, my best experience, for all the reasons mentioned above. And, our house appraised for more than we anticipated because the appraiser knew of the high quality and workmanship that Cornerstone delivers again and again. Now that's an endorsement that pays!

Cornerstone Builders renovated our kitchen 4 years ago. They were extremely professional and meticulously paid attention to all details. They thought of everything! We created an open concept kitchen which affected other areas of our home. Martin ensured that everything flowed from room to room. Shawna was amazing to work with. She has a great sense of style and design and her suggestions worked beautifully. There were no surprises in terms of cost as their estimate was complete and accurate. They also worked diligently to finish the project on time.

Martin and his team are awesome to work with. Our bathroom renovation is the second project we have used Cornerstone. Martin gives a fair and accurate quote and is a master at solving big problems. What seems to be a huge problem to us is easily solved by the team. We are so pleased with the beautiful work done in our home.
