Petra was brought on to our full home remodel project as our interior designer by our design-build contractor, and we’re so happy she was! After a discussion about our priorities in design (timeless, functional, and high quality, while still cost-conscious vs going high-end just to make a statement), Petra leaned into our vision (embodied by our Houzz Ideabook and a few meetings) and provided invaluable support and insights throughout the process. She did a great job decomposing an intimidating mountain of design decisions into manageable pieces while ensuring we understood how they’re interrelated to keep everything cohesive. Our kitchen is the focal point of our house, and many of its features wouldn’t have existed (or at least been quite different) without Petra’s guidance, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The same is true for our bathrooms; each has a different purpose and feel, and she made our ideas come to life. She leveraged her network of vendors to explore possibilities and work the best pricing once we narrowed our options. We spent countless Friday mornings with her on field trips looking at cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, etc. We can’t imagine how much more stressful our remodel would have been without her support! We’d 100% recommend her to anyone who was doing a remodel and was looking for some professional guidance!

Thinking I could redesign and select all materials and colors for my master bathroom renovation was overambitious. I selected Creative Partner based on experience and areas of expertise. This is our 2nd remodeling project we've worked on with Petra. We just concluded the process of having Petra completely redesign our kitchen, dining room and living room, including a home addition. From beginning to end, initial meetings through submissions of plans for city permits, it was a pleasure to work with Petra. She is a true professional who listened closely to our needs and desires and translated our vision into a realistic design. Petra was invaluable in guiding me to discover the look and feel I wanted when remodeling my primary and daughter's bathrooms. We bought our home in October 2019 and planned to moved on Christmas eve that year. We knew right away that we would need to remodel the kitchen and our half bath/ laundry room, with the former being more urgent. My husband and I met Petra from Creative Partners through a recommendation from our agent. Petra sensed the urgency in starting the project and immediately was on board to help us develop a vision and see our dream kitchen come together within our targeted timeline. We did not know anyone who had worked with an interior designer. We quickly realized that designing a kitchen or bathroom can be complicated and there are many specifics and details that need to be perfect for the contractor to be able to execute the plan. We chose to get permits for both our projects and, Petra's layouts were critical in ensuring we received and passed the inspections upon completion of the remodels in a very efficient and timely manner. She helped turn our small and very restricted kitchen space into a large open kitchen. Her plan not only met our storage needs but, also made it a central space in our home where family and guests can gather. She periodically met with our contractor, monitored the progress and communicated any key concerns or changes that were critical for the kitchen's functionality. Perta's role was extremely important in guiding the selection of all the materials for the kitchen and bathroom. She developed a layout based on our budget and always kept things in perspective when it was a matter of practicality and, getting the most out of our investment. She proposed multiple layouts and made many changes as needed in the process of making our final decision. We appreciate our beautiful and efficient kitchen and bathroom and always get compliments. These projects would have simply not materialized to our satisfaction if it weren't for Pertra's expertise. We know many families that did their remodels without an interior designer and none of them have been satisfied with the outcomes. Without an expert like Petra, mistakes can be costly and can significanly delay proiject timelines. We are grateful for her insights, her work ethic and professionalism. Petra was an absolute delight to work with! She is a FANTASTIC designer who SURPASSED our EXPECTATIONS. Our home needed a complete renovation. We needed someone who "understood" what we needed and wanted in a home. We interviewed many professionals in the industry for about 3-4 months and were very selective with our decision. Petra helped me with a full renovation of my town house in Los Gatos. I changed the floors, repainted the walls, got new kitchen cabinets and appliances, new bathroom vanities, and re-tiled the showers, new sinks, new toilets, and new lighting. She was really helpful in recommending local vendors for appliances and materials and she showed me what to monitor during construction. It was very helpful to have someone guide me through the process. I would have been very lost otherwise.

We hired Petra to design a new kitchen for our home which included taking down a wall to open up the space for a big island. We are thrilled with the result.
