David Brown and Craftsmen Construction are true professionals. If we had another major home construction project, we would go back to David. We had never done a major project - Craftsmen carried out our project on time and on budget. Communication was great. There were no surprises. We feel fortunate to have worked with Craftsmen Construction.

We did a major remodel project (kitchen, master bath, updating other bathrooms, etc) with David Brown and Craftsmen Construction. David was the epitome of professionalism and dependability. As a homeowner facing this amount of change and disruption, the one thing you absolutely have to have in a contractor is trust, and David is incredibly trustworthy. He always took my calls, provided excellent oversight, responded quickly to questions about schedule, and treated my concerns seriously. Additionally, he works with a group of subcontractors who are all highly professional and "craftsmen" themselves. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. All new spaces are beautiful, timeless, and very well constructed. An exceptional experience.

We hired Craftsmen Construction Co. and David Brown to build a sunroom onto our house. Throughout the project, everyone was professional, courteous and punctual. They kept us informed of each day's schedule. The project began and ended on time and within budget. The quality of work was outstanding. David offered several very helpful suggestions as to how to enhance and improve our project. It was a pleasure to work with David and his crew to make our house a happier and more livable home. My wife and I hired Craftsman for two projects. The first was exterior upgrade that included new windows, a re-designed and built front porch, siding replacement and full painting. During the project Craftsman was very clear and competitive on the cost, they approached us with minor additional improvements (e.g., better water proofing), and completed the project on schedule. Craftsman is a very professional organization that provides very high quality work with close attention to customer needs. The second project was about four years later when we decided to replace our old back deck with a new screened porch. This is now the best room "in" the house! We bid the project and Craftsman was very competitive so with our experience and their high quality we selected them again. The quality of their materials and work is excellent. They designed the porch for us and added many nice amenities. They also managed water proofing on the basement under the old deck. I highly recommend Craftsman for their high quality work, reasonable price, and prompt customer service. I would use them again for another project without question.

We have had two significant renovations performed by David Brown and his company, Craftsman Construction. We custom built our home 22 years ago and decided it was time to update first our kitchen/breakfast area and powder room. The process went so well that we expanded it to include our laundry area. Plastic was placed over the entrances to these areas to eliminate as much dust as possible from traveling throughout the house---even the ducts of the HVAC system in the demo areas were sealed. Custom cabinets, tile, granite countertops, new exterior doors and a new paver patio were parts of the project. David's subcontractors were always on time and in constant communication with us. They cleaned the worksite every day and trash removal was quick. Excellent work, quality, communication, and follow up were our experiences in dealing with David. We also added the expansion of custom oak flooring into our large family room. Our comfort level increased as we saw how well everything went and we stayed within our budget! The process went so well that we had our master bath and dining room done as our second project (two years later). The custom tile work in the bath was done by the same sub as our kitchen and was beautiful----even to the point of matching color and cuts in the recessed area for the soap and shampoo. We had significant areas of wall paper that were removed and painted. New ventilation was installed in the bath that vented through the room and is so quiet, you only hear gentle air flow...no noisy motor. Custom cabinets and custom mirrors were added. A frameless shower enclosure and a new soaking tub completed the job. Great suggestions and quality once again. Also, under budget. Our experiences have been so positive that we've scheduled another outside project along with some replacement windows. No horror stories...quite simply David Brown does what he says and takes charge of the projects in a professional and quality minded process. Note: the project cost indicated below is per project, not the total of the two projects we've had done thus far.
