I had a very bad experience with CertaPro after hiring them to paint a number of rooms (walls and ceilings) in our new home. I would not recommend enlisting their services if you are needing painters. First of all, CertaPro actually does zero painting, none, they hire sub-contractors, so it is totally luck-of-the-draw. The crew we had worked in our house until 10pm at night, which was awkward. They painted boxes around ceiling fans, not meeting where the fans touch the ceiling. They clogged a toilet, requiring a visit from a plumber. They didn’t use drop cloths and got paint all over newly refinished floors, even after voicing my concern about this. There is still paint smeared on a number of windows. Months later we are still cleaning up their aftermath. When it came time to pay for their service, the team lead stated they were better at smaller jobs, this one was much bigger than they usually do. Not something I really want to hear while writing a sizable check… Our kitchen is already peeling and looks terrible. I called multiple times and was never given any direct answers, or apologies for the complete disrespect toward my home. They take zero responsibility because, of course, it was the subcontractors who did this. This is how they attempt to “save face”. CertaPro later came out to take a look at the issue with the kitchen peeling, which I appreciated. I was told after they inspected, they had “no clue” why it was peeling and they’d need to come back to run some further tests. This isn’t a medical diagnosis here, just slipshod work. Finally giving up and tired of dealing with CertaPro’s total apathy, I requested a refund for the kitchen and left it at that. Our house looks awful and will require re-painting from an actual professional painter. CertaPro is a marketing company at best, they are only interested in the checks you write payable to them, not in the quality of their subcontractors work.

I like to take on DIY projects but the dining room of the house we recently purchased had wainscoting and vinyl wallpaper which would NOT come off! I tried for days….I called Centrapro and not only were they quick in responding but they completely stripped, patched, sanded and painted the room for me in a day!! It is beautiful and I have already picked another project for them. I can’t wait to see them transform the front exterior!

Beto and his crew were extraordinarily competent and courteous. They completed the job in a timely manner with a high degree of skill and a minimum of disruption. I would definitely recommend this crew to anyone for their painting project.

First time using CertaPro and had great experience. Timely quotes, reasonable schedule. The field crew did excellent work - great final product, kept work site tidy, communicated plans/ progress well. Would definitely recommend.
