Can’t say enough great things about covet noir. They were creative and really listened to what I wanted and produced exactly my image. Total professionals. They were also fun to work with. Best experience I’ve had with designers! No matter what your aesthetic is, I’m confident the girls will produce it for you.

Adele and Maria were nothing but absolutely amazing to work with, right from their initial pitch to final sign off. We met with at least half a dozen interior designers, from other independents to big firms, and none came anywhere near as close to being as well prepared as they did for the initial pitch and their fees were very straightforward/easy to understand which gave us trust and confidence in them from the offset. We initially thought we wouldn't really need an interior designer but quite quickly we came to realise how much extra value Adele and Maria brought and that it would have been impossible to complete our project within time and budget without a team as good as them on board, advising on the overall design & layout of each room, liaising with all the suppliers and sourcing such beautiful and unique pieces of FF&E (furniture & fittings etc.) that we would just not be able to find or even think of finding ourselves. Adele and Maria were also so brilliant at guiding us from a design perspective. As much as we love the look & feel of their work, we also had a strong view on how we wanted our house to feel but with their experience and expertise, they pushed us beyond this and the outcome is a home that we couldn't have ever dreamt of and be more in love with. In addition, all throughout the project Adele & Maria were incredibly responsive and 'on it' and even now the project has come to the end, they have been so helpful in sorting a couple of loose ends. In contrast, other suppliers who we worked with on the project seemed to suddenly become less communicative once we gave them the business resulting in us having to chase them to get decisions made and then vanished once they had been fully paid. In short, we are just so thrilled to have worked with Adele & Maria and without a doubt, will be using them again if ever we get the opportunity to do another project!!

Maria & Adele understood our brief perfectly: we wanted a space that was soft, but not necessarily feminine; and rooms that gave an overall sense of 'home' but were furnished with pieces that would withstand repeated non-residential use. They delivered on our expectations and did so with good humour, hard-work, commitment and oodles of taste. Every person who enters our building remarks on the warm and welcoming ambience as well as the gorgeous aesthetics of the design - Covet & Noir created exactly what we aimed for. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to prospective clients: commercial or private.

Maria and Adele developed a full concept for the furnishings contract for one of the three-bed mews houses to suit the overall scheme of the Notting Hill development’s style and to help attract potential buyers. The house was given its own unique identity with carefully selected furniture, finished, fabrics, artwork and accessories. They also sourced some lovely vintage pieces of furniture which helped to add some extra character to the scheme. They delivered a wonderful project for us at the time and within the given budget. It was a full turnkey solution and they managed everything from sourcing and procurement of all FF&E to handling all deliveries, quality control, and white glove delivery install. We were very impressed with their services and their attention to detail. We would highly recommend their services.

Adele and Maria did an absolutely fantastic job for us. The result has been incredible - we love our new home. They were both so easy to work with; they listened to what we wanted and what our tastes were, but weren’t afraid to encourage us to try new things, which have all worked out brilliantly. Adele and Maria worked in the whole house-wide design scheme for us, including selection materials and finished and paint colours, designing window treatments and lighting, and the layout and finish of the kitchens and bathrooms. Each room has its own feel, but they all work together as a whole. We’ve already recommended Adele and Maria to friends and family, who have been so impressed when they’ve come to visit!

Having worked with Adele and Maria for a number of years it was of great satisfaction to hear they had decided to start their own venture. We recently completed a residential project in central London where Maria was the head designer and we were the main contractor.
