There is not enough good things I can say about Brian and his team at cottages to castles. From the first meeting everything was perfection. Brian was so friendly, and kept you in the loop throughout the entire process. Brian is very anal about the work his team does, he makes sure everything is done to perfection. They extremely high quality materials. And the cabin is insulated so so well, better then my actual home. Yes there are less expensive contractors out there, but we know people who used them, and they nothing but issue after issue. You get what you pay for and Brian and his team Will give you the home or cabin of your dreams. You can go wrong choosing them as your contractor. I am a pretty high maintenance and inpatient person and Brian was so kind and knew exactly how to deal with me. Brian always went the extra mile with every he did! I can’t wait to enjoy this vacation home for many years to come.

Hired to build our dream home in the Northwoods. Was left with a nightmare money pit after he finished. Brian is unqualified to finish the homes he orders from Stratford Homes. Couldn’t properly support the floors center support beam, couldn’t properly install a roof or a deck, resulting in leaks and major interior damage.

We have attempted to make arrangements to resolve this issue, but instead, this customer leaves us bad reviews. Cottages to Castles has met and exceeded the expectations of our clients over the last 30 years and we take a lot of pride in that. The homeowner brought these problems to our attention 2 months ago regarding a house that is nearly 6 years old. It was explained to Jim that warranties are voided when the homeowner attempts to complete repairs without even making us aware of any problems for over 5 years. This is very unfortunate considering we have texts from one week ago showing our willingness to check out the issues to see how we can help.

Professional, thorough, thoughtful, accommodating, accountable, and a delight to work with. Brian always goes the extra mile. Pot stands from Amazon. I will post photos soon, project is 6 days from completion. All lighting, copper sink, counter stools, tile mural from Houzz.

We chose Cottages to Castles to build our home based on recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed! This was our first time building a house and Brian took the time to show us the advantages of both a modular and stick built home. What impressed us the most was his quick response to our many questions. He regularly supplied us with photos of work progress since we were not local. He also gave us regular updates on the timeline and alerted us as to what decisions were needed. While our project ended up taking longer than expected due to weather and other variables, the cost was exactly what we were quoted. During the building project we had the privilege of meeting several of the individuals working on our house. We were so impressed with the quality of their work. To a person, they were friendly, competent and proud of their work. All in all a great experience!

Cottages To Castles and Brian Brzoznowski built a lake home for us in 2011. We did not live in the area, so much of the communication had to be done via email or text. Brian was always available with information and answers to our question in a very prompt and professional manner. The construction process went smoothly, within budget and in a timely manner. The quality of the project was and 6 years later, still is, very good. It is a home to be proud of. We have had very few problems, and when we did, they were handled in a prompt and complete manner. We have no reservations about recommending Brian and Cottages to Castles.

Formed excellent relationship with builder Brian, daily communication. Daily on site meetings, concerns or problems dealt with calmly, and swiftly. Always available for questions and concerns. Still have follow up 2 years after completion , as Brian has earned my respect as a builder and a friend now.

I worked with Cottages to Castles 13 years ago and would rehire them in a minute should the need for a new home arise. The entire staff were professional, fun to work with and delivered the project on time. My husband and I have had no problems with home.

It was great working with Brian from Cottages to Castles, we built our house while we lived in another state. Brian always kept us updated on to what was going on. Made the project easy. Would use him again if we ever build another house.

We had a lake home built by Cottages to Castles and had the basement finished two years later. They did excellent professional work and were a pleasure to work with before, during, and after the project right up to the present day. I would highly recommend Cottages to Castles.
