Cornerstone Brickworks

Cornerstone did some repointing work for us as well as replacing three lintels and installing a new metal chimney cap. We were really happy with the quality of the work. Since the house is older, an exact colour match for the brick was not available, but they found the right texture and then tinted it so that it was indistinguishable from the original brick. They were always really professional: they started the work when they said they would, finished on time, and cleaned up everything afterwards. I highly recommend them for brick work.

Adam and team took care of some brick repairs around the front door of our home where there had been quite a bit of decay down to the foundation. They brought forward some innovative solutions to not only solve the problem of water damage, but wanted to ensure that the problem would not return any time soon. They kept in touch before, during and after the job which itself was done with great professionalism. They certainly set a bar you do not see often in the repair/renovation business. Thanks again! Cornerstone Brickworks for a very small charge patched up a few areas of my foundation parging, and reassured me about other hairline cracks that are normal. In particular, they cleaned up an unsightly crack between my house and garage and created a pliable join to minimize further cracking. They came quickly, did a great job, and left things tidy. I called Cornerstone because they had done a great job rebuilding part of my chimney last year. Again, they offered a practical solution with a reasonable cost (under $4000 with tax) and also worked around road construction timelines. Great customer service and a tidy job. It's great to have a company that has integrity and will consider small jobs as well as large ones.

Andrew and Adam provided excellent quality and attention to detail, beginning with their prompt response to my inquiry and communication at each stage. Even though this was a small job, they took all the time needed to explain options and went over and above in contacting a previous contractor to ensure that the colour of my product matched earlier work done. I very much appreciated their friendly, enthusiastic and very respectful manner in conducting their business. Their prices were competitive. Cornerstone gave us one of the best renovation/repair experiences we have ever had. They were courteous and highly knowledgeable and went the extra mile to deliver a high-quality job. I had booked two other companies for the same work the previous summer, and both never showed up after cancelling several times in a row, citing bad weather or trouble with their crew, etc. By contrast, Cornerstone was prompt and professional throughout. Moreover, the cost was very reasonable for the work done. When a very minor billing error in our favour came to light after the final bill had been paid, the manager showed up the next day with a cheque, when so many other companies would have just scarpered with the cash. I only wish more reno companies were like Cornerstone!

All of the work being done was well explained ahead of time, and they made sure I knew what they were going to do, and that the work they were doing was also exactly what I wanted.
