I’ve worked with Chris Long and Conrad Construction for a number of years now in what is a very tough business—the renovation and construction industry, which almost always seem to be over-budget and late delivering with a bazillion deficiencies. But Conrad is different—they really care about their clients and won’t quit till it’s done… properly. Unethical pricing, avoids customers when there are problems, does not return phone calls, emails, texts. Did not complete job, numerous errors in order of tasks being completed (which we had to identify ourselves) necessitating several re-dos or tasks done properly. We found out later that line item charged to us $10,000, paid subcontractor $2,500 . Same subcontractor went way above and beyond what was expected to see that job was completed to our satisfaction. To best of our knowledge he was not compensated. We would not deal with this contractor ever again. All of his sub-contractors were fine, but he lacked integrity. We could have done our own subcontracting and come out way ahead and completed sooner. Started simple kitchen facelift in June, not completed until December. Not fun.

I was very happy with Conrad Construction's work. They removed our old deck and replaced it with a well made cedar one. Time and budget estimates were spot-on; no overruns. We look forward to our next project with them.

Chris and his team provided excellent service, and took the worry away from doing a home renovation. Having Chris take control and manage the job allowed us to focus on other things knowing he was in charge. Highly recommended for any project, big or small.
