Dee and his team were extremely professional and the results show. We needed our whole house repainted, wallpaper removed, walls patched, and other details taken care of. It was all done in a timely, professional manner with great communication through the process from start to finish. Our realtor suggested we amp up the design of our place with a wood feature wall. We'd already had a great experience with Colourworks painting our condo in 2020, so we reached out to see if they do feature walls. Luckily, they do and they got us booked in really quickly. Dee helped us make sure we were picking the right paint colour for our project -- do take advantage of Dee's great eye for colour, he will not steer you wrong. Cameron came in the morning and in only a few hours we had a beautiful feature wall. We are really pleased with the quality of the work and the result is even better than we'd hoped. Our realtor is also really happy with the outcome! Colourworks is the only painting company we would ever call, they're the best!

We just bought a house and were looking to have a bit of painting done...we ended up getting the whole house done...even a customized accent wall in my son's bedroom. Right from the get go, Dee was extremely helpful and professional, sharing with us his knowledge and expertise. No question was silly. He ensured that we had top quality paint and materials at a reasonable price. His guys were friendly and professional and the end result is fantastic!

We were looking to have our condo repainted after living with colours we didn’t love and a paint job from another company that we weren’t thrilled with. From the beginning, Dee was extremely helpful and professional, guiding us to make sure we were comfortable with the approach and saved us money on unnecessarily expensive paint while still ensuring we had top quality materials. My condo looks spectacular! Dee really knows how colour works! I was so impressed with the time Dee took to understand the interior style I had in mind, and what I ultimately wanted my place to look like. Mr Potter and his crew at Colour Works painted my very large house in its entirety from top to bottom. Walls, trim, ceilings and crown moldings all in various colours, it was a huge job with a very short period of time, we are selling and it need to be completed on time. His crew are some of the most talented painters I have ever seen in my life. They were extremely professional, very polite and courteous and the quality of the finished product was absolutely outstanding. We have used ColourWorks in the past, so when we purchased a home, we called them to paint it. It was a large project and the budget was becoming a concern. Dee was great about working with us to determine what we could and couldn’t live without and how best to manage the cost. He was able to get a crew to do the project on short notice and with a short turnaround time. Denis and his crew were excellent. They are very detailed and thorough. They had the house to themselves the first week, but the project continued after we moved in and the crew were polite and courteous and did everything they could to minimize disruption. When an issue arose, Dee and Denis quickly addressed it and ensured the solution was satisfactory to everyone. We would (and probably will) use them again.

Dee and his crew (Julian) at COLOURWORKS helped me out of ‘a jam’ due to a plumbing leak. They provided fast and efficient services while repairing dry wall, touching up paint and caulking 2 bathrooms. I would highly recommend COLOURWORKS and use them for future jobs since they do professional work and they were easy to deal with while organizing everything so quickly. I couldn't ask for a better experience! I was looking to get my entire condo painted, and I contacted ColourWorks as a result of the reviews here on Houzz., and I am so glad that I did. Within less than 24 hours of sending an email to DEE I had a consultation booked that same week. I appreciated the time DEE took in understanding what I wanted, explaining to me the process, and going over the colours I picked. Cameron and his team were excellent. Super professional, efficient, great attention to detail, organized and NEAT. They showed up at the agreed to time and asked questions when needed (which were not many to begin with - which speaks to previous point above). The overall job took less than 2 days to complete and within the agreed to budget. I will definitely be using ColourWorks again in the future and be providing their name to anyone who is looking to get painting done.

When I decided to list my condo, I needed to get quality paint work and some smaller maintenance stuff done. I had no idea what I was doing and didn't have much experience with contractors. I popped into the Benjamin Moore store up the street, asked for a referral, and they gave me Dee's number. When I called Dee, I heard back within the hour, and he had my project scheduled before the end of the week, despite the fact that his team was already jam packed with jobs. Over a year ago we moved into a pre-construction condo, with bare white primer painted walls. Everywhere. When we finally decided it was time to get some colour on the walls, we got a recommendation from a family member. Dee and his team did not disappoint. From our initial consultation, Dee spent over an hour with us, helping select colours and identify the best use of our money. That was a win for us. There were many rooms that needed to be painted, we didn't want to do it ourselves and we didn't want it to break the bank. With some initial ideas on paint colours, Dee helped us select colours that fit our space and our design tastes. Dee quickly scheduled for his crew to come the following week - and knowing that we had a party on the Saturday, he made sure to have our living room and powder room completed. His crew - Cameron and Chad - did such an amazing job, and we know this was money well spent. Even though they were in our home for 3 days, there presence was surprisingly noninvasive. I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and quality of work. If I ever need a painter again in the future I know who I'm going to call!

We hired Dee to paint some of our interior rooms (entrance way, hallway, kitchen, laundry room and basement bedroom), including trim, etc. The whole experience was very pleasant and Dee provided some excellent advice on colour choices (I was going mad with numerous swatches throughout my home) and paint finishes. The paint job itself was excellent - Dale Butt did a great job in all rooms and cleaned up nicely after all was complete. ColourWorks Painting Design was very helpful with its suggestions given our particular situation in a new condo with early deficiencies and very accommodating as far as timing both in waiting until we were ready and then meeting a deadline. ColourWorks was reasonable when pricing, honestly helping to keep costs affordable without having the quality of work suffer. On that note, the work was professional, neat and impressive.

We hired Colour Works to paint our new backyard wooden garden shed. They had previously painted the interior of our home (2014) and did a great job, so they were the only company we thought of when we needed professional painting services. I hired ColourWorks Design to repaint our entire condo and let me just say we are EXTREMELY happy with the results! The whole process from initial consultation, quote, scheduling and to end of project took 1 week. Dee was very professional and helpful with assisting us in choosing a particular set of colours (we already had some in mind [Pinterest/Houzz] we just needed a bit of 'personality'). I originally wanted to go with very dark greys for an accent wall and he consulted us based on the decor and lighting we would be redecorating with (very honest!!). We also changed 2 of our colours and Dee was great with checking in with us and making sure our work order was very detailed. The invoice/work order was very detailed and we really appreciated this as it was formal--it really shows that they care about the service their providing you. We had Cameron from Dee's team. He was very professional, prompt and friendly! I also liked that they were very accommodating around our work schedules and which rooms to start with. Exterior Townhouse Painting After interviewing 3 Painting Companies Dee was a standout for his professionalism, knowledge and recommendations. We had a tight time frame to get the job done and Dee went the additional mile to make this happen. Cameron was very hard working, polite and proficient and did an amazing job. Dale, our painter from Colourworks has done great work, we are very pleased with the results. Our Master bedroom, third floor, upper hallway and 2nd bedroom all look fantastic. Dale's prep work was excellent, the walls all looks much better now. We decided after seeing the back bedroom done completely in Chelsea Gray and loving it so much that the Master bedroom would also look better with the Athabaska Blue wrapped onto the ceiling. (thank you Dee! perfect colour recommendation) It really looks great! Your choice of matte finish paint was the right way to go, especially for this house. We very much appreciate the quick scheduling and turn around. Again, Dale has been very pleasant and done a terrific job. Easy to tell he takes pride in his work.

I hired Dee and his team after I had a terrible experience with another painting company (Paint York - whom I will review elsewhere). I'm so glad I did. What a difference! Dee was in the neighbourhood and was able to come only a few minutes after I initially called him to give me a detailed quote. His painter (I wish I could remember his name) came a few days later and did a wonderful job. He took every precaution to make sure my cabinetry and floors were protected. He did an excellent prep job to smooth and even the walls before painting. And the paint job itself is great - even and expertly done. I highly recommend ColourWorks.
