Driven by a deep passion to create unique spaces. We like to evolve in the use of textures and shapes, space planning, Interior lighting design, period design, within other applications. We love to use materials and colors that inspired and reflect the client's style. Our company provides and apply these principles with great imagination, discipline and expertise and great vendor’s collaboration. Each project that we create is unique and it is exclusive to the particular client; and every client is different. From concept to visualization or to custom furnishing, the purpose is to work closely with our clients to deliver the design they desire adding our discerning eye-design strategies. Our multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, craftsman are dedicated to deliver high levels of detail and creative expression to all of our projects.

Margaret was amazing to work with on our project. We had a unique situation moving to Miami and only being able to work with Margaret remotely. Margaret did a wonderful job understanding our taste and finding pieces that we love! Her and the team at Colors of Design acted extremely professionally throughout the process. The delivery process was seamless and the team was excellent communicating timelines and expectation setting. We would highly recommend Colors of Design!

I hired Margaret Van Puffelen, Colors of Design Group Inc., to remodel my apartment in the Crystal House in Miami Beach. It was to be a small job at first but her design was so impressive that I had her redo the entire apartment. I retained her under an arrangement that seemed eminently fair, and was absolutely delighted with the final results. She not only designed the project, showing us her ideas in professionally crafted drawings and decorator’s boards, but engaged all the workers and supervised the entire job, while my wife and I remained in New York. Her taste is impeccable and she has a very pleasant way about her. I found her honest and straightforward. She does not quickly spend her client’s money. I have had many visitors since the job was completed and am often asked who did the job and told how talented she must be. The results were at the same time elegant and understated, reflecting our wishes to the “T”. I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Van Puffelen for design and space planning services.
