Linda has made our new home a warm and comfortable place to be and we are so happy! One of the many things that made Linda so great was her ability to grasp my personal style while bringing in new ideas. Linda is professional, organized and very knowledgeable and has excellent resources. She also has a great sense of humor and we highly recommend her!

Some years ago we needed to redo our outdoor furniture and make some other refreshments to our Florida home. We went to the White Egret here on Anna Maria Island and met this congenial designer named Linda Hendershot. Some years later, we continue to enjoy the many beautiful touches and updates, including a total refreshment of our interior. At the beginning of our journey, the tasks were small but handled professionally and without much need of our input as we were part time residents or snowbirds as some like to call us. The changes Linda made to our lanai and pool area were excellent and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We lost touch with her as she moved on from the White Egret and luckily found har again as we learned she had gone to Castner’s in Bradenton. This time we decided it was time to redo the entire interior of our home and asked her if she could help us in that effort. Help is an understatement as Linda became our project manager in a sense because she coordinated all trades persons, delivery of all furniture, timing of all activities as we were back up north at our Michigan home. Every change suggested by Linda was approved as to color etc by my wife Linda and ultimately payed for be me. A process that worked perfectly and led to the most beautiful interior for our home which transformed from a dark warm home to an unbelievable sea foam bright place which seemed completely new without one wall being moved or any other major construction. During the months of renewal we would fly down for a few days and marvel at the beauty of our new home. The changes were stunning and perfect in every way. The new furniture and carpeting as well as paint and updated wall and window treatments has given us this most incredible “Florida” home. The professional way in which she handled all of this is unmatched and greatly appreciated. A designer with her skills and personality are one in a million and we were so lucky to find her and then rediscover her so that she could recreate our home. Now that she is on her own we continue to use her to and as usual she is moving forward with grace and professionalism. She has coordinated touch up painting and carpet relaying while we were up north and everything is as perfect as always. Linda did an amazing job decorating my living room/dining room. I am a single mom, recently divorced and I felt the need to get rid of everything that was his/ours and start over. I have a daughter and Linda chose a girly, soft modern color palette of blush pink, cream and gray. I receive so many compliments and I highly recommend Linda!

I hired Linda 5 years ago to furnish and accessorize my personal residence. Since then she has furnished and accessorized two additional homes I built for resale. She has a great ability to select colors and fabrics that complement the interior space of the home. She is easy to work with and listens to my input (which is a rare trait in this business). I would recommend Linda for home decor.

2019 marked our decision to remodel our condo. As we are based in the UK we needed to find an interior decorator who was both creative and reliable. I had to trust Linda to get on with the interior design without being on-site for consultations. She was brilliant. After the initial face to face consultation and another follow-up she led the process without needing constant supervision. We discussed ideas and concepts over email and video and she quickly got my likes and dislikes. She was sympathetic to the need to balance aesthetics with practical considerations and the end result is beautiful. Also and importantly our remodelling involved a large amount of building work and Linda worked easily and happily with the contractor.

I met Linda while browsing at Castner and Caster. From our first conversation I knew she would do a fantastic job. She eludes style, knowledge, and warmth. She got to know our taste, our likes and dislikes. She incorporated some existing pieces, such as a baby grand, into our open floor plan of living room, family room, and study of our Lakewood Ranch home. The rooms flow seamlessly from one to the next, each with beauty and comfort. Highly recommend Linda for any design project!

I fancy myself as a "Do it Yourselfer". I had been in my condo on AMI for over 5 years and had frugally purchased second-hand furniture, painted it, slipcovered it etc. I had a lot of pieces I liked but the place was a mess. I could not put it together. I met Linda while shopping at Castner and Castner. I was sharing my dilema with her and she said "You need me". I said "How Much?" and then said "Yes". Incredibly quick and easy decision. I trusted her immediately. She visited my condo, took copious notes, helped me decide what to keep and what to give away. A week later she had meticulously designed my 2 rooms. I purchased a new chair and a new area rug. Walah! Perfection. I love it - everyone who visits raves about it. Linda has an eye for what you need and an ear for what you can or want to afford. She was exactly what I needed and probably what you need too. I plan on adding to my purchases, using Linda as my designer.

Earlier this year, my husband and I purchased a small condo on Longboat Key Florida…..a dream come true for us both. We immediately contacted The Egret’s Landing located on Anna Maria Island to assist us with our decorating needs to update the very outdated living room and dining room. We were fortunate to meet Linda Hendershot for our interior designer. From our very first meeting, Linda made us feel comfortable and valued and we immediately felt confident in her abilities. Linda knew the right questions to ask in order to get the “feel” for what we were looking to accomplish. She listened to us as well as made very valuable suggestions. Our main goal was for comfort and durability, after Linda assisted us in selecting our furniture pieces…..she pulled together fabric groups for us to select from. We were amazed at her selections – she really had listened to us and it was reflected in her selection of fabric colors, patterns, and textures. She narrowed down 1,000’s of swatches to a few for our selections….made the whole process so simple for us. We surely had no unpleasant surprises….Linda informed us of the estimated shipment dates and kept us updated and informed. She searched diligently for specialty pieces which fit our taste, space, utilization, and budget. We found Linda to be very respectful of our time as she was always punctual for all appointments and was very organized and efficient. We took delivery of all our furniture on the same day….the day we like to refer to as our “reveal” day. Linda came and directed the furniture placement. She also brought with her many accessories for us to choose from to accent our beautiful condo. We could not be more pleased with our finished result. We hired Linda Hendershot of Egret's Landing Interior Decorating Services to help us interpret our ideas and turn them into a beautifully furnished beach condo that matched our vision and needs. Linda was able to listen to our ideas for the condo but also see our "design" personalities. She presented us with furniture and color/ pattern options that worked well and kept in line with our budget and needs. Linda was and is always professional, quick to reply to questions, and willing to adjust her suggestions based on our requests. Linda provided a Interior Design consultation, and then proceeded to execute it. It was important as a couple for us to trust her and follow her creative suggestions. With her warm and patient approach we did trust her and it paid off in dividends. She was always available and returned our calls within seconds.
