Charles is great to collaborate with. We've worked together on multiple projects. He has creative ideas and really works with each space individually to find the best solutions. He also is great with clients. Very considerate of their time and their requests. He goes the extra mile to make sure that everything is put together the correct way and works well.

Function meets art. CMC fabricated and installed multiple pedestrian gates at my residence and seven years later they look just as good as when they were installed. Charles is great to work with and dependable. I'm looking forward to using CMC on future projects.

CMCFAB designed and fabricated a trellis for my front entry that is wonderfully perfect! The trellis continually receives compliments on the quality, the beauty, the feel and the appropriateness of it. The front courtyard of my mid-century modern home was recently remodeled with the idea that the entry sequence would be an experience of “natural meets built”. The trellis cantilevers out of the ground and perpendicularly meets an existing fence. The thick steel frame allows for a 14 foot clear span so the trellis only touches down in 2 places allowing for creeping vines to be planted so they crawl up both sides of the trellis. Even though the finish of the horizontal planks of the existing fence and the trellis are clearly different (painted vs. natural redwood) the material matches dimensionally delivering a clear sense of unity. The charm is in the details of this piece, where a small “window” is provided near the turn allowing for a peek into the courtyard to feed your curiosity. Charles is a pleasure to work with for many reasons. Charles is amazing in his design vision and ability to bring the design to life. One of Charles' unique attributes is the ability to design together with the homeowner or design independently - we were very hands on during our design process but realize not all homeowners have the time or interest. Whether or not you collaborate with Charles, he can come up with a spectacular design because he has the experience and instinct for what fits with the style of home. We contracted with Charles on several projects for our modest 1938 home in Pasadena - Asian inspired custom gates, benches, stream bridges, a privacy screen installation, and a shade sail project. He far exceeded our expectations with his craftsmanship. When Charles is working on our house, I can relax knowing the project will be done to the highest standard. Our house was once modest and thanks to Charles' work it is now spectacular.

Charles fabricated and installed all the ironwork on the exterior of my home. He also constructed a small granite water feature. He is professional, creative, and timely. I would highly recommend Charles.
