The COVA team designed and built a master walk-in closet in our addition and we couldn’t be happier with it. Completely reasonable pricing compared to market and tons of optionality on selections. Installation only took 4 or so hours and was seamless.

Recently we “downsized” to a condo and we knew the master bedroom closet was going to be challenging. We did not have a huge budget as we were doing a number of items. Our realtor suggested Steven O’York with Closets of Virginia - what a FIND!! Steven was wonderful to work with - he really listened to what our needs were, and with the smaller budget in mind, came up with an absolutely amazing design for us. We truly could not be more pleased. His support staff, as well, are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Our installer Butch is quite experienced and it shows. The unit went together quickly, absolutely no mess and he made sure we were pleased with all of the functions before he left. We just cannot recommend them highly enough!!

We did our homework and received three quotes to redo our closets and pantry in our new-to-us 1986 house. Closets of Virginia were not only cheapest, they had better design options and also included the demo and patching! Sarah is so honest, knowledgeable and professional. The workers and installers were prompt, quick, detailed, and kept our house from becoming a mess. We have had very stressful experiences with contractors and it is so refreshing to find one that actually goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right! Closets of Virginia is very professional and will take care of all your closet needs. This is the second time I sued them. The first time was for a coat closet on our first floor and this time for an office supply closet. There were many options for our home closet and we love it. The supply closet at work is just what we needed - a sturdy and functional closet with shelves.

Closets of Virginia deserves the five star recommendation for precise, quality work and materials performed in our home on two separate occasions (walk-in closets: 1 in 2012 and 2 in 2015). I can base this on comparison of work done by another company in a condo we once owned PLUS the former owner of our current home had yet another company's work done in many other areas of our house. I had 3 consultations done for walk-in closet spaces; pricing estimates were competitive so I decided to give Virginia Closets an opportunity. Turned out to be a really smart choice - by far! The spaces involved were challenging because of vaulted ceilings and some previous shelving installed by the builder (which I subsequently removed for the Closets of Va to work measurements.) I relied completely on the consultant (Steven) for his idea options - bc I had no clue. He presented what could be done in a few different perspectives before I ultimately chose. He then constructed a graphic for me. Every detail was included professionally and with clear understanding. The very best surprise (when comparing other company's) was the quality materials and workmanship. (Comparative work done in this house by the previous owner's closet company is inferior in style and materials.) You can work with confidence in Closets of Virginia.

Closets of Virginia designed and installed shelving, hanging bars, hooks and shoe shelves in my daughters closet. The design was perfect taking into account all the clothing, shoes and storage needs based on examining her 'before' closet and discussing any special needs. Stephen is an absolute joy to work with. He customized our walk-in closet in our home in Stafford, VA. Everything was designed to our height and included hampers, jewelry organizers and adjustable shelving. It was a dream closet. When we moved to take new jobs, we contacted him to design storage in our new home. The new home, which is actually 80 years old, lacked storage as older home tend to. H was able to add a small linen closet in our bathroom and 2 shoe cabinets which has been a lifesaver. He is very professional and his crew does a great job installing.

My experience was absolutely more than what I had ever imagined it could have been. I was truly blown over and I love my closet! I have a small walk in closet, and Steven was able to re-designed it within my budget so I could have room for all my shoes, purses, and clothes. He provided 4 hanging bars and one long hanging bar for my dresses. Many shelves for jeans, shirts, work clothes for the garden, and pull out drawers for my underwear, swim suits, pjs, shorts, and tees. I have a hanging gismo for my jewelry, and a pull out bar for my belts and one for my scarves. He even installed a pull out bar for me to hang my clothes for the next morning. I was able to get rid of my dresser and chest, which has made my bedroom bigger without all the furniture. I have learned less is more. It has actually made me more organized, which was a miracle in itself. The workmanship was top notch, and the work was completed on time. It was a wonderful experience! My husband and I are thrilled with our new closet from Closets of Virginia! Our former walk-in was divided in the center with detestable floor to ceiling shelving, lots of unusable wall space and no aesthetics. Steven worked with us in designing a dream dressing room that is both functional and gorgeous! We now have built in shelving behind closed doors; a dressing console with lots of drawer and shelf space behind beautiful glass doors; a fabulous shoe rack; lingerie and jewelry drawers; additional shelving for both decor and function; and wonderful extras such as a pull out double hamper; tie racks; pull out pants hangers; and a dressing mirror. Working with Closets of Virginia was wonderful! We live in Westham and purchased a home needing major TLC including a master bath and closet remodel. I contacted three local closet companies and Steven at Closest of Virginia easily blew away all of his competitors. He has a keen eye for design and immediately drew up a "his and hers" master closet that worked perfectly for my husband's scrubs, suits, tennis gear, and shoes as well as my items. His design included ample drawer and cubby storage and he even suggested two changes to maximize the space- raising an electrical outlet and removing two existing bulkheads (we had our contractor do both and are so happy we did so). Closets of Virginia price was the most affordable of all three bids we received for this project. Installation came in on schedule, on budget, and only took one day (they arrived at 8 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m.). The install crew was very professional- called before they arrived and left our finished closet fully clean. I'd HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone- the process was easy, enjoyable, and you won't be sorry!

We used Closets of Virginia to get an organizer for our pantry. They were very professional and courteous. Since it was installed, I have much more storage space. It is much easier for me to see what we have and what is running low. The storage drawers help keep bagged items from falling off the shelves and keep me aware of the freshness of produce, like onions and potatoes. I'm so glad I treated myself to this organizer after many years of talking myself out of it because of cost.

Steven impressed us from our very first meeting at our house with his attention to detail and time he devoted to ascertaining our individual storage needs. The pairs of shoes as well as hanging items, belts and handbags were counted so that our plan would be unique to us. There was very little turn around time before our second meeting in the showroom where we were presented with a design proposal for our closet and shown the various cabinets and finishes to choose from. Costume closets thru whole house (5200 sq..ft.), mud room with multi purpose cabinet with bench ( my favorite), garage storage which helped in many ways .... Steven is the professional to wish for! Steve O'York of Closets of Virginia worked with me to create the most efficient use of space in my master closet. He answered all my questions, reviewed all options, and was willing to make changes as the design evolved. The quoted price was fair and actually lower then the next quoted price. I was able to schedule the project with time in between removal and installation to allow for painting. Both the removal of old shelving and installation of the new shelving was done within the scheduled time. I highly recommend Closets of Virginia and will use them on future projects.

Great company. Very knowledgeable. My closet space is an unusual shape with lots of angles. I had 2 closets for hanging clothes,and 2 dressers. No place for shoes and only enough room for one season so I also used the closet in a spare bedroom. Closets of Virginia inventoried both closets, measured, designed a new closet that would accommodate all my clothes, coats, shoes, purses, etc. It's beautiful. I even have a double hamper and a small ironing board, and space to put a double bench in the center.

We recently downsized, housing wise! However, I had a problem downsizing my closet needs! Enter, Steven O York, Closets of Va. ! He came to our home, thoroughly evaluated ALL of our closet needs and then went to work creating miracles! When he told me how many shoes I owned, I denied it only to have him tell me that he had in fact counted them. Counted them he did, and somehow he created space for them all, where there was "no space" to do so! The end results not only met our needs/wishes, they are attractive as well as functional ! Who could wish for more? We are so fortunate to have had a friend recommend Closets of Va. My life has never been as well organized!

We have a small 1 bedroom condo in the fan where storage space is scarce and must be used efficiently. Steven met with us, discussed options and created some very clear drawings of what the final product would be like. He gave us advice on drawer and color choices and a layout and then we placed the order. About a week later the installer came in and had it installed in a day! He took special care to leave the place cleaner than when he left, there wasn't a spec of sawdust on the floor. With Steven's layout we were able to only have 1 dresser in the bedroom and finally get rid of the dreadful storage rack we had in the bedroom. Definitely the best value in town, we'll use them again!
