I am a architectural photographer who has been hired many times by Cirrus homes. They are fantastic people to work with. Jobs go smoothly because the right amount of communication happens, Cirrus has a very high quality standard for their work. This is great for me because it helps me to ensure that I can give them the best photos possible. My favourite kind of client. Overall they are fun and easy to work with.

We have worked with Cirrus several times over the last 5 years. They have worked on small projects and large for us, with exceptional attention to detail regardless of the scope they are working within. They have stood behind their work, and have been diligent in ensuring that we are happy with the finished product. I have worked with probably most of the staff at this point and have consistently been impressed with their professionalism from the destruction crew on up to the site supervisor. Really great guys to have around the house for a few months. Greg and his crew are first-rate.

We have been working with Greg of Cirrus Homes for many years but what sets him apart became very apparent when I decided to visit his jobsite. As his contracted plumbing and heating company on this and many other projects, we saw eye to eye on project standards and quality but it is seldom you get such a clear picture of what that quality looks like through his eyes. I had been going up and down basement the stairs taking pictures of the bathrooms and mechanical rooms thinking how beautiful it all looked. The millwork in the kitchen was perfect, the joints lined up, the finishing was impeccable. The presentation side of the building was well on the way to being perfect. But for Greg, it was about the stairs. “Can you hear them?” he asked me? “They squeak!” He was thoroughly offended. I really hadn’t heard and stepped on them to test. No sound. He stepped on them and sort of bounced around until they emitted a faint squeak. “I built these stairs and for the past six months we’ve been going up and down them, loading material, trades, building, with not a single sound. Now the hardwood is laid, this is a finished floor, and I can hear it. You should not be able to HEAR stairs.” On this particular project, after the hardwood installers had placed the treads and apparently not glued or screwed sufficiently and there was indeed a faint squeak. (When you bounced a 175 lb guy around in just the right spot)… “Unfortunately,” he went on, “now the hardware guys will have to come back and redo them.” Could he have left them? Absolutely and its very likely nobody would ever have noticed. They probably thought as I did, that stairs just squeak and that’s how it is. That’s not how Greg sees it though. Stairs that have been built right, do not make noise and there was no way he would accept it. Not because the client may notice, but because HE noticed. Now multiply that by an entire house and you can get the idea of what quality work means to Cirrus Homes. His integrity won’t let him hide things that are sub-standard. He will notice the details, and will ensure it is built right.

The house construction business can fairly be compared to herding a group of cats, not easy and usually the cats don't appreciate it very much. I have repeatly witnessed Cirrus Homes coming up with the "right stuff" to get the job done no matter what the obstacles. I had the opportunity to work with Greg and Kevin in Vancouver where they brought me in to do the arborist consulting on a project. Although the degree of my work was minimal for this particular site, I have been watching the progress of it unfold and regularly pass by when I am in the area. It has been nice to see the evolution on the site. They communicated well and I felt that I was given all the info required I needed to do my work without delay. Cirrus Homes has completed 2 separate renovations for us in the last 15 years. The first was a media style room built over our 3 car attached garage. The result exceeded our expectations. The crew were polite, skilled and aesthetically aware. The second was an update of the interior of the house. Greg and his team worked seamlessly with our Interior Designer realizing her vision with sound method and meticulous execution.
