Very knowledgeable, professional and THOROUGH from the first proposal to the finished project. Items in her proposal included things that 2 other bidders we called never brought up. Which I'm sure would have led to "oh, if you want that done, that will be extra..." if we had chosen either of the other contractors. Follow up inspections were done along the way. If something wasn't "just right", it was corrected right away. I would highly recommend CK Builders for any remodeling project.

We found Cindy and CK Builders to be very honest. She took the time to explain all that was necessary in regards to the job. Her crew was great and did wonderful work.

Cindy and her crew did a energy upgrade project for our home. The scope of work included converting our house from a 20 year old gas furnace to a heat pump in the attic, air sealing the attic plane from the living space and increasing the insulation in the attic. We are very pleased with the results and their work. Our house is quieter, stays much warmer overnight and will will have AC this summer. Her crew were great to work with and to have in our home. It is not easy doing a project of this scope while a house is occupied but the CK were responsive to our needs and made a difficult situation managle.

REVIEW OF CK BUILDER’S, INC. DATED JUNE 4, 2018 Minor kitchen remodel including (1) removal of all existing appliances, (2) replacement of existing laminate floor with porcelain tile (owner provided tile material), (3) replace existing acrylic counter-tops with quartz, (4) install a new over-the-range venting system to the roof, (4) install new range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and garbage disposal (owner provided all appliances and fixtures). I requested bids from three Houzz recommended kitchen remodel contractors. Two came to my home to review the project and too provide subsequent cost estimates. The third contractor wanted me to send pictures and they would provide an estimate (I declined). I selected CK Builder's Inc. to perform the remodel work even though Cindy Edwards (President - CK Builder's, Inc.) submitted the highest cost estimate of the two received. In our initial site meeting, I was very impressed with Cindy's thoroughness and attention to detail. I felt she worked hard to fully understand my requirements and expectations. Cindy's cost estimate was very detailed (CSI MasterFormat). Cindy was able to subsequently reduce the cost of the quartz countertop material (by approx $2K) when she was able to find an alternative source supplier/fabricator/installer. CK Builder's onsite project manager/craftsperson was Jonathon Avrett. Jonathon performed the demolition work in a way that sealed off the kitchen from the rest of the house using curtain wall barriers and a HEPA filtering system. Jonathon worked in a very professional manner and is a very skilled craftsperson. He maintained a clean work area and kept us informed of his planned daily activities and advised of any issues or concerns that arose during the work day. He would always call in advance to advise when he would be on-site. Bottom line, the project was completed on budget, in a quality manner and in an acceptable time period. To date, all appliances and systems are working properly and no concerns have arisen. This is fourth home I have owned over the past 50 years and have undertaken several minor and two major remodel projects at these four homes. Having been involved as a career professional in the Construction Industry for the past 50 years, I can attest to the professionalism and quality of work that the CK Builders, Inc team performed for this remodel project.

We hired CK Builders to update a 25 year old house. While these projects always seem to cost more and take longer than expected, we were pleased with the responsiveness of the contractor, the management of the subcontractors, the attention to detail and the overall quality of the finished product. We would be glad to hire Cindy to handle a job like this again.
