Karen at Custom Interiors did an amazing job for us renovating our Vero Home with a brand new kitchen, bath, lighting, fans, wall colors. You name it she brought beautiful style and ideas that matched our personality. She was lovely to work with. I highly recommend her.

We chose Custom Interiors, and specifically Karen Downey, because we felt she was honest, reasonable and we loved her ideas for our master bath redo. The vendors she worked with were also terrific. We love how it turned out and, our friends and neighbors were equally impressed with how beautiful it is. It was over budget and, at times the communication could have been better but, we were all dealing with the repercussions of COVID so I took that into consideration when judging my satisfaction for the job. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with the outcome and Karen was a delight to work with.

Karen is very professional and works hard to help the client work through their vision of the project. She has many contractors available to help your vision become real. She works at getting the best quality for a reasonable price. She is willing to work with contractors you want and works hard to schedule all the contractors and keep the project moving along. Karen Is caring, considerate and patient.

The kitchen project took much longer than was originally suggested. I did not have an estimate for the total job project, and ended up spending much more than anticipated. Since I had a photo from a designer magazine, I knew exactly what I wanted. However, I love my new kitchen and receive raves from neighbors and friends when they visit. Karen has wonderful contacts, and I had trust in them, which is important. She has great decorating tastes and instincts for her clients. She has a wonderful decorator's eye and is creative. She is friendly and easy to work with.

Karen Downey assisted us with a total renovation of a condo in Vero Beach, Florida about 5 years ago. Karen is extremely professional and is only satisfied with perfection regarding every stage of a project. Karen knows how to recommend great sources and execute at a very high level. The icing on the cake is that Karen LISTENS to her clients and is most anxious to HEAR them and satisfy at every level. Our relationship with Karen has continued since our project's completion. Karen sees her work and relationship with customers as on going and is always ready to attend to any request in order to keep our home in tip top condition. I recommend Karen highly!

I bought a condo and decided to gut it. With the suggestions and all the help from Karen Downey (Custom Interiors), we turned that "tired" condo into the cutest "coastal living" condo. She did everything - suggested what ceramic tiles to use, cabinetry, appliances, granite for counters, window dressings, bed linens, light fixtures, everything right down to the door knobs! We used her plumber, electrician, painter, seamstress, all top notch. And the place looks awesome!! She also helped me redecorate the living room in my home. It also looks awesome! When I come up with my next project, it will not be without Custom Interiors.

Karen Downey of Custom Interiors Florida has unusual spacial capabilities for renovations purposes and her outstanding color advice brings a classy touch to the decorating. She also managed our project with largely outstanding craftspeople. The outcome has amazed our neighbors who saw it before and we are extremely pleased with our new-found livability.
