I worked with Carla from NOVO Interiors on the design of bathroom remodel, bedroom refresh and fireplace stone wall makeover. She is delightful to work with. We absolutely love the design! She has been so professional during the whole process, giving us a lot of suggestions, accommodating all our requirements in her design, and thoroughly communicating with us. I highly recommend Carla for any interior design projects.

Novo Interiors (Carla) helped me design and execute a complete demo and remodel of my 2005 down town San Diego condo. She developed a modern vision for me and was creative, communicative and was actively participating throughout the project. She was really fun to work with and I would highly recommended her.

I was lucky enough to come across Carla's name and excellent reviews when I was trying to find an interior designer to help beautifully furnish and decorate my Dad's newly remodeled house as a short term rental for travel nurses. Since quite a bit of money is going towards the cost of living at the retirement community he moved to I was on a budget. I knew I was in good hands as soon as we met at my Dad's house for the consultation. Carla was very thorough in describing how she works and what I could expect in terms of stages of the project and timeline. She took photos and measurements that day and asked me lots of questions to get a clear understanding of what needed to be accomplished. We had some existing furniture that we wanted to work with to save additional money which she honored. Thanks to Carla the house is now gorgeous --- she has a true gift for selecting & sourcing just the right art work, lamps, rugs, furniture, accessories, drapes, and she even set me up with somebody who refinished a large wood credenza to perfectly fit in with the new look of the family room! Our first tenant is so happy living there --- she says it feels like a model home & has already asked to lengthen her stay.

Carla was great for our remodel. She took the time to listen to both what my husband and I wanted. At the beginning of this process, I had no idea what my style even was. She took the time to ensure I understood things and explained every step of the process. We were so happy with our finished product that we are using her again now that we are embarking on an expansion.

Carla did a wonderful job planning and decorating my office. She gave me many ideas to chose from and we were able to work together as a team. She was supportive in my needs and wants and worked to make it happen. I spend a lot of time in my office and couldn’t be happier. She is thoughtful in her presentations and highly professional. On a side not she is kind, considerate and personable. I recommend her highly!

We have been working with Carla for a few years now, as we have been taking a "little by little" approach to our home. We love her! She is very approachable, down to earth, and has a great sense of style. She helps us think through options, and provides good counsel in terms of where to splurge and where to save. She asks good questions and is very pleasant to work with. She started by helping us with our living room decor, then we used her for our bedrooms, and now she is leading a complete renovation of our home (kitchen, multiple bathrooms, moving walls, etc.) She partners with credible professionals and doesn't nickel and dime you for her services. Highly recommend!

Our project began in November 2021. Carla was very easy to work with. She paid attention to our preferences and found items we love. Carla was quick to update us on deliveries, especially due to the pandemic and supply chain shortages. We appreciate her attention to detail and a job well done.

She was great at listening to our wants and needs for the space we are renovating. She was flexible with the designs, so we could get the best layout for us. She helped us to choose materials that would both look good and be practical with our kids. We would definitely recommend her to others.

Carla worked with me on a complete downtown condo remodel. She understood the look I was seeking and carefully created concepts for me for new kitchen, master bedroom, bath, and walking closet. She went the extra effort to meet with me at appliance, flooring, and tile showrooms. She kept me on track with design reviews and even participated in contractor meetings. She has a great eye for good taste and will meet all of your expectations.

We searched for quite awhile for an interior designer who we wanted to work with. We wanted someone who “got us” someone we liked, someone patient, someone who could work with us and understand our style, modern, eclectic, indecisive, mid century….. we were all over the place at first we honestly didn’t know what we ultimately wanted… but let me tell you… WOW!!! We met Carla and I instantly loved her!!! Not only was she great at designs, but she was great with me, a new mom, a crazy Bengal cat, a teenager, a husband that changed his mind every other day, then add covid to all of that… she stayed, through all our chaos, she guided us, taught us, and now we have 2 newly remodeled bathrooms that we absolutely LOVE!!!! I highly recommend Carla for any design project, and I will be using her again in the future!!!
