Field Landscape Architecture

We recently undertook the somewhat daunting task of building a new home in Atherton, CA. Candidly, Chris Yates and his team were recommended to us early in the process. However, in a classic 'penny wise, pound foolish scenario and in order to save a few dollars, etc we went with a different design/build firm, choosing to 'design' the landscape ourselves in concert with another firm. That was a mistake! After' learning our lesson' we circled back to Chris Yates Landscaping, engaging them to design and execute our minimalist modern landscape on a one acre site. While we are not yet complete with the project, Chris has been fantastic to work with. He is a design specialist, clearly creative, thoughtful and reflective. Seeking out our needs, Chris has come up with a design that is clean, elegant and 'informally formal'! Working with Chris has been terrific and we are now deep into the construction process. In a month we look forward to enjoying our new landscape! Chris is landscape design professional of the highest order. Fully recommend and endorse!
