Ken helped us from start to finish with the design and plan of our home. From the early brainstorming of simply 'what style of home' we wanted, he was integral in our final choice of house style, knowing and feeling what best would suit our family and lifestyle and he couldn't have helped us choose a better style home for our family! We were drawn to Ken for his 'uncommon' design forging his own and unique style away from the mainstream 'cookie-cutter' so commonly seen everywhere in today's home design and builds. He has an amazing eye, not only for architecture but also design which was so reassuring knowing we would end up with the home that truly suited us. It was so exciting to see our home design right down to final finishes, paint colours, light fixtures and even furniture layout and selections which he walked us through every step of the way. He has extensive knowledge and contacts within the design, architecture and construction world that were always readily available to us. His never ending research into the newest products and finishes lent to the uniqueness, beauty and seamless final product that we call 'our home'. He was an amazing, steadfast and extremely patient support through the entire process guiding us along the way to ensure the best communication between design plans and trades alike. The feedback from all trades and contractors on site confirmed how detailed his plans were providing ease for the completion of the build. He is extremely professional, personable and always worked with us to meet our deadlines and budgets. We love our home and it never could have happened without Ken.

We approached Chesapeake Uncommon Design earlier this year for drafting and design. Ken was willing and able to provide those services as well as additional information regarding all the dynamic changes the building industry is making. This allows us to incorporate better building practices before they become code requirements. Ken was very professional in everything from the design to the compensation.
