A Shade Above

It is always a pleasure to work with Cheryl. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products, very creative and professional. We have worked with her to purchase window coverings over the past several years and have always been satisfied with the end product and her prices are competitive.

We had shopped around online and had already decided on what we needed most with providing privacy & options to still allow light to come through our windows when & where we wanted. Cheryl set right to work to come over, take measurements and share a few other options. 3 wks later, Cheryl's Installer met us to hang the custom made blinds. Wished we'd done it sooner!

Cheryl was great to work with in selecting Roman shades for our master bedroom. She is knowledgeable about the Hunter Douglas materials and promotions, very professional, and on time. We're really happy with the shades we picked out. They arrived on time and were easy to install. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the color/pattern selection is somewhat limited with using just Hunter Douglas.

I have worked with Cheryl on multiple Hunter Douglas window coverings and also valances that she designed and made herself. She has always more than exceeded my expectations. She has great color ideas and a huge inventory to work from. The convenience of her coming to the home is awesome- very relaxed and not a hard sell. I will continue to work with her on other projects in my home as they come up. She has great installers and is always very prompt in delivery and appointments. I highly recommend her for all of your window covering needs.

Purchased Hunter Douglas shade. I am pleased with the product and A Shade Above was very helpful in selecting the shade, features, and color. Having the product brought to my home and completing measurements in one visit was great.

Cheryl is fantastic. The best part about her services is that she comes to your home. She brings all of her samples to your door. I have worked with her and three occasions now ordering roman shades, shutters and some more basic shades. She works with fantastic installers who are quick and reapectful as well.

My shutters changed the look of my kitchen & family room so much a few months later I put them in the rest of my downstairs .

We worked with Cheryl Murray at A Shade Up two separate times. Our first time was for window coverings for our entire home (which was a 4500 s.f. new build) 8.5 years ago. She did both hardwood blinds as well as valances, pillow cases and a seat cushion for our home. Her cost on the blinds was well below the other bids we got at the time. I did not get bids on the other work as we did each project in different stages as I continued to be pleased with her work so we kept adding to the scope of what we wanted her to do. Her installer was great. Cheryl had great design ideas and she was easy to communicate with. Having been so pleased with her work in 2006, I contacted her again in 2014 to work on valances for the office at our son's school. She was open to us providing our own fabric and again, the project went as planned with no complaints. I would highly recommend A Shade Up for all your window covering needs - and more.
