We had an issue with my order which I had an employee help me with. It should have been picked up since I order customized side slab that didn’t go with an of my order cabinets. They are only offering me possibly a reduction in my shipment price. I put the order in two weeks ago. I’m willing to order and pay for the new cabinet. I definitely feel frustrated over the situation.

We have had our cabinets in place for over a year now. They are high quality, especially the drawer slides. Ordering was relatively easy and the cabinets came slightly ahead of the manufacturer’s timeline. While assembly did take some time, the price to quality ratio over any of the preassembled cabinets available at big box stores made it more than. A few of our cabinet fronts had flaws (some from shipping, some from manufacturing), but we reached out to Barker and they sent us expedited replacements without any fuss. Definitely recommend.

The cabinets are fine but the paint wears off the doors and frame after less than a year. Touch up paint provided by the company didn’t match the sheen. Do not recommend.

We love the solid quality of Barker cabinets. The thick plywood used is super to that used by big box stores. Even the installers commented on the quality. Also, we had outstanding customer service from Barker Cabinets. Easy to order. If you want high quality at a lower price, this is it. Highly recommend.

This order was the second order I've placed with Barker. This was to add a few more cabinets to my project. The product is very good. It is solid in it's construction and was perfect fory project because it was RTA type. The only issue is because I live in Hawaii, and since COVID 19 came on, the shipping to Hawaii became a very difficult process. I would suggest that Barker makes some concession for a dock pickup for freight forwarders as it would have saved me $300.

We did not have a space in our cabinets for a dishwasher, so I ordered a custom dishwasher cabinet from Barker, and what I received was perfect! Measurements are exactly as I specified, the materials are high quality, and it was very easy to assemble with all necessary parts included. The unit was even shipped out much quicker than originally expected. I will definitely order from Barker again when I need something like this. Thank you!

If you need a high quality cabinetry you buy from BARKER . They are made with an incredible precision.
I bought a complete kitchen and I assembled it myself with no problems at all.It’s worth the time they take to make and ship them

I order the cabinets and decide to finish them myself. They say that the cabinets are sanded and ready for finish. They are correct, to my surprise. They also sent me to missing cabinet doors, that I was sure were sent. At no charge and many weeks after shipment. Yes I would recommend them, and will probably use them again in the future.

This is a review early in our kitchen redo process. We have received samples from three different RTA makers/vendors. The Barker samples are by far the best quality, and the other 2 are very good, so this is high praise! Also, I emailed questions to the Barker folks and they were extremely helpful and fast getting back to me.
The Barker cabinets will be approximately 10-25% more expensive than the others I've looked at, depending on the finish, but I will say they are worth the difference if our budget allows.

Well made cabinets, very few issues assembling. However, some of the white oak veneers have a very high amount of flake/tiger stripe, while others have none at all. Some veneers are considerably darker than others. All of the cabinets have an inconsistent appearance across the kitchen. I inquired about the inconsistencies and the response I got from the manufacturer was that it was "spot on", even though they were all part of the same order.
I am an architect and am very familiar with woodworking standards. This is NOT spot on for a premium product. Barker refuses to re-make all of the doors with heavy tiger striping. These are about half the cabinets with issues. If this is "spot on" I cannot recommend this cabinet maker, as there is ZERO quality assurance/quality control going on.

Thanks for your feedback here. I find it odd to see a negative review considering the fact that we offered to replace 7 cabinet doors as a goodwill gesture to minimize visible flake (this was conveniently left out of your review for some reason). This, combined with the fact that when ordering via our website, the website literally says "not grain matched" as you select the plywood door style from the list of options available.
As an architect, you are likely aware of the difference in grain pattern from one sheet of plywood to another. As each sheet of veneer used was once a living material, each will have varying degrees of flake and color tone (especially on white oak, Sapele, and Walnut). Furthermore, it is clearly not possible to cut all doors from a single sheet of 4x8 plywood, as would be common sense when looking at the square footage of door material need to complete your order.
Overall, we understand that you “don’t like the amount of flake” present on the cabinet doors, but asking to have all doors remade from a single source constitutes a re request for “grain matching” that was never offered, nor available in the first place. Combine this with the fact that we went over and above by offering to remake 7 total doors for your order and you have me scratching my head in disbelief (a bit of a stab in the back here). Please change you review to reflect the truth of this situation.
