Late in 2018 my wife and I engaged Celia Visser Design Limited to provide professional design advice on and coordination for significant kitchen and bathroom alterations at our small art deco style home in Greenlane, Auckland. That input was very helpful and led to a range of other internal building improvements, rewiring, rejibbing and other subsequent enhancements with furnishing and decor. We are very pleased with the outcome and the collegial approach which the CVD team adopted towards the exercise. The design outcome is very pleasant and contemporary, but the key heritage elements of the home have been retained and enhanced. We appreciate the fact that our views were respected throughout the exercise, but the design improvements are there to see.

Celia is an inspirational designer. She thinks outside the square, delivering designs that wow! She worked collaboratively with me, taking my ideas into consideration, while quietly encouraging me to stretch slightly outside my comfort zone. The result has transformed our home.

Celia was recommended to us by one of our neighbours who had their kitchen designed and project managed by Celia.We found Celia to be very professional, easy to communicate with and a great provider of ideas (from the design stage through to choosing cabinetry style, cupboard/drawer solutions, flooring, tiles, paint colour etc) She also understood and incorporated our ideas and needs in the overall design of the space. We had a great designer/client relationship. Everything was completed to an extremely high standard. Celia's sub-contractors are fantastic and their work is flawless. The finished result, incorporating Kitchen/Family room + adjacent laundry, has a seamless flow, is very functional and has a fabulous WOW factor. We would recommend Celia to anyone who wishes to have a result that is above the norm!!

We employed Celia and her team to help us with the build of our concrete masonry home over 2009/2010. We had a kitchen, a mini kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite, and 1 powder room for her to design. We also used her with the general interior of the house including flooring, walls, carpet and furniture in the lounge and family area. We met with Celia and were immediately on the same wavelength. She did most of the work but the final decision was always with us and seldom were we not happy with her choice. She always listened to our suggestions. We are so thrilled with our home and 7 years later it does not look at all dated. Celia won major awards for our bathroom design taking out the Supreme Award for NKBA best bathroom design and also for our kitchen. Well deserved. She was a dream to work with and we have no hesitation recommending her. I would definitely use her again.

I met Celia at a bathroom seminar, and invited her around to have a look at renovating our small bathroom. She had a wonderful idea for utilising our under-stair area as a storage space with large pull out drawers which completely changed our lives, and we then utilised Celia Visser Design for an extensive renovation of our bathroom and back garden (including out door kitchen) and house. She met our brief for clean simple lines, and made choosing colours, tiles, blinds and fittings easy. Celia worked well with our other contractors (landscaping and home automation), and co-ordinated international purchases and freighting. We are very happy with the results, and Celia Visser Design made the process straightforward and relatively easy. When we renovate the kitchen I will use Celia again. We have a small house and it was lovely to meet an interior designer who is comfortable working with small spaces and is good at space utilisation, and the combination of form and function that is required in small spaces. Celia ultimately won an award for our bathroom, which was the icing on the cake.
