When Terri and I bought our home last year we knew that we would be undertaking some major remodeling and design efforts. We loved the location, the neighborhood and the overall attributes of the house but it needed some significant updating. We embarked on a pretty comprehensive remodel and Celeste was a great partner (and so easy to work with) every step of the way. From helping us visualize all of the opportunities that we had available to us, to finding the perfect vendors to use for our custom furniture to working side by side with our contractor to ensure no detail was overlooked or forgotten. And most important to us is that Celeste was always attentive, accessible and responsive to our needs and...she came in right on budget. We highly recommend Celeste and Pace Design.

We hired Celeste to transform our entire house from top to bottom. She has an impeccable sense of design and did a fantastic job of communicating her vision to us. Celeste was always available and patient with us. We also hired her to be involved in the construction process. We challenged Celeste, having purchased a bed, sight unseen online, to create a design plan for our master bedroom solely from the picture of the bed. She met the challenge and the finished project exceeds our expectations. Celeste is responsive and very easy to work with.

Celeste and her crew (Custom Carpentry) did a fantastic job in all areas. Her design surpassed our expectations, the craftsmanship of the wood cabinets and brick/stone is impeccable, and all was completed within budget and sooner than originally expected. Celeste was a pleasure to work with, was present all along the way (very important) and will be who we hire for our next project.

We hired Celeste to help us remodel our 1955 ranch house kitchen. We oversaw our own job (no GC), but we needed someone to help us with the design aspect. We’re design-challenged and didn’t want to blow our $50K budget and end up with crap. Celeste fit the bill perfectly. She was super flexible and willing to help us on an hourly basis, with a 10-hour estimate/commitment. We met in our home, in the shop she works out of, and once at the countertop fabricator’s shop. She helped us with our cabinet design, tile type/color/design for sink and stove backsplashes, quartz for countertops, and gave opinions on flooring and appliances. She gave us recommendations for a tile setter and a countertop fabricator/installer, both of whom we ended up selecting – and both did excellent work. As she had worked with them in the past, she facilitated much of that work, which was a huge relief for us. Celeste patiently answered numerous variations of the question, “Would this look good?” and never seemed put out. She’s a genuine, down-to-earth person with a good sense of humor and is simply a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Thank you Celeste for all your work to make the family room of our new beach house so beautiful and cozy! I really wanted a lovely room but one that people would feel comfortable in. I wanted it the way I wanted it but I wanted it casual for beach living. Celeste was able to capture that vision perfectly yet stretched me a bit to consider things I hadn’t considered before. I had a color scheme in mind and she helped shape the vision and colors into an amazing end product. The deep and custom couches she designed are awesome and comfortable. I love how the pillows standout with color. The fireplace has been transformed and has gone from modern to rustic which I love. The furniture, rug, lighting and remodeled fireplace really have turned this space into a place that I love going to. Celeste is so positive and energetic. Move in day was super fun because she is so excited about what she does and it is contagious. Thank you again Celeste. I gave you a budget and you made sure we stuck to it! You met the quick turnaround time and deadline even with the custom made furniture. I can’t wait until construction is done of the rest of the house so that I can have you help me complete every room!

Celeste Pace is fantastic to work with! She is knowledgeable in so many aspects of home improvement. I work with Celeste on several different projects including my own home. We have partnered on closet designs, media centers, wall coverings as well as outdoor furnishings and fabrics! Celeste Pace helped me with an entire downstairs remodel of our home. We removed a wall, moved and replaced a fireplace and put in 16 foot glass accordion doors. She worked with our contractor and designed a new pantry and kitchen island, along with new kitchen cabinets and backsplash. She re-designed an existing wood entertainment center into a beautiful and functional wall desk. She helped me pick out color schemes for the entire inside of our home including paint, tiles, stone for the fireplace, carpet, area rugs and wood stain colors. She did it all and even threw in the colors for the outside paint as well. She was very personable, professional and very easy to work with. Celeste has a great eye, is very flexible and willing to adapt to your style. When it was time to pick out furniture, she space planned each room so it would all fit perfectly. When I could not find an item I wanted in any of her numerous catalogs, she took me shopping so I would get exactly what I wanted. She was also great about answering questions and helping us through the whole remodel. I really didn’t have a clear picture of what I wanted, but she was very patient, had lots of great ideas and guided us through the process. We feel we received excellent value for her services. We now have a truly beautiful, updated home that we never would have achieved without her.

Wanted to let everyone know how easy it was to find a wallpaper for my kitchen. We walked into her store and she was ready for me with books pulled with patterns that I loved. Celeste did an outstanding job envisioning a new kitchen and bathroom for our 'dated' ranch home. We love the new space. It looks great and fits our lifestyle perfectly!

Celeste, owner of Pace Design, was a real pleasure to work with on our project. She is punctual, well organized, easy to work with and her sense of style is impeccable. She responds immediately to texts and phone calls. The contractors she works with are true craftsmen. Celeste listened to our vision for our living room and together we created a lovely, serene room. The project entailed: new hardwood floor in the foyer, kitchen and family room. New tile floor in in the master bath, laundry room and half bath. Refaced the fireplace with Italian porcelain tile. Removed a mirrored wall and replaced the drywall, new baseboards, re-stained our stair treads, painted living room, two bathrooms, stairwell, hallway and laundry room. She also helped us select fabric for reupholstering a sofa, three chairs and six dining chairs. The upholsterer did an excellent job. The project took two months and was over budget because we added additional items. I would not hesitate to recommend Celeste!
