My rating is not for the finished product but the poor customer service provided by Cedar West. 1. Hardware we ordered and told was available was not available. (six weeks between our visit and call to advise us) 3. Windows were not correctly measured and larger than agreed gaps were left in window openings, this caused the trim not to cover the existing trim lines and now required all window surrounds to be repaired and painted. 4. "Delivery included" apparently does not include unloading, we were not made aware until a day or so before delivery. 5. Several Steel uprights in the house had to be removed as the joinery was not he correct size/design 6. We were advised approx 7 weeks for construction of the joinery, when this turned into 9, then 10 then 12 we were given a multitude of reasons, all appeared to be false as even basic questions could not be answered. 7. Not enough trim was provided and we were asked to pay for more, whilst other trim was paid for and could not be used. (resolved and missing trim was provided for no cost)

We appreciate your feedback as we take our customer service seriously. Thank you for your time on the phone with one of our colleagues seeking to resolve this matter. As you would be aware, the end of last year was a very challenging time period for the window and door industry, as a major glass supplier of over 30 years closed, causing an overload to other double glazing providers, which resulted in unforeseen extensive delays (this has now stabilised). On top of this, a major hardware supplier made the decision to reduce the available hardware in rumbled nickel (which we were only advised about at the time of delivery), so we were left with little option but to go through a reselection process. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delays and appreciate the time you have taken to provide feedback. On a positive note, we are pleased to hear that you think the products are beautiful and look great. We are also glad we were able to assist you to find an out-of-metro installation team.
