We used Cherie for a kitchen and bath remodel. Accepted bid on 5-29-2015 with an 8 weeks lead time. Cabinets did not arrive until middle of October and had several missing pieces. We were to go through cdk for replacement pieces, but ended up going directly to manufacture as cdk did not respond to emails or phone calls for missing or replacement product. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend, nor would the designer we used on this project. Just seeing the response May 2021 as I don’t get on this sight often, which is why I posted when I did. Her response is not true or if it is, she did not let us know of the delay. We did attempt to get pieces through cdk, but as I mentioned before, she did not respond. All can be verified by our designer.

I am sorry to hear you are distraught enough to leave this review over three years later. Your project had unique circumstances with both benefits and challenges. For a generous discount, you agreed to be among the first kitchens produced for a brand new line of cabinets. It was a tall task designing and ordering something that was still in development, but overall, I feel we worked through the issues very well and the result was gorgeous. I understand that the delays in getting the factory up and running impacted your schedule, but these were anticipated as well as promptly communicated to you. Before submitting the order in early June, we learned the factory would not be ready to produce any cabinets until the second week of August. The manufacturer offered the option to move to their other cabinet line for a more standard lead time while honoring the "test kitchen" discount promised or cancel the order entirely. You bravely decided to stay the course and be one of the pioneers for the new line. The manufacturing issues were indeed frustrating, but we knew there could be hiccups along the way. This is the very reason they offer "test kitchens" such as yours - the feedback from follies helps them analyze and refine processes and procedures. Some three years later, this line has grown immensely and continues to be of my clients favorites. Please know your cabinets have one of the best warranties around, so if you are experiencing any issues, feel free to contact me. I apologize for not assisting you directly on the replacement vanity door and any inconvenience this caused.

Cherie Weren at CDK is an outstanding person to work with. She provided fresh, creative and practical ideas for my new build kitchen, bath and mudroom cabinetry. I feel like I am getting a lot for my money! Her patience with my need to think about all the options is commendable. She is easy to communicate with and prompt when I need something. I'd like to encourage anyone thinking about cabinetry for a new or remodel project to talk to Cherie before buying anything. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of kitchen design with her guidance and help. Thank you Cherie!

We hired cdk for a remodel of our master bath and bedroom. We are very pleased with the final result. Josh estimated that the project would take six to eight weeks; it took seven, but would have been done in six except for some minor delays with respect to installing the carpet and the new mirrors. His bid was not the lowest we received, but it was the most comprehensive, including reasonable allowances for fixtures, tile, carpet, granite, etc. All we had to do was pick out the materials at the local suppliers, which would then deliver them to our house. Josh was also helpful with the design. We did not have any major surprises or change orders. Josh and Phil, the project manager, were easy to reach by phone or email, and always responsive. Phil did a good job of coordinating their various subs, without too much down time. Dust and disruption were reasonably well controlled. We will certainly ask cdk to bid on any future remodeling projects we may have.

The project took about three weeks (thank goodness for microwave ovens) and went very smoothly. I ordered the cabinets from cdk Kitchens and baths and they came very quickly. Cherie was very quick about offering different cabinet configurations as I settled on the design. Once they design was settled, Josh gave an estimate that included demolition of the existing kitchen, installation of the cabinets, new countertop and installation, flooring and installation, painting, installation of an over-the-stove microwave, installation of a new light fixture, reinstallation of the sink and well as a new faucet and installation of under-cabinet lights.  Josh and Phil were very good about letting me know when they would be at the job site, were prompt and excellent about cleaning up every afternoon. I am extremely happy with the new kitchen. White cabinets make the whole room look so much larger. The only damage during the whole project was a couple of dings on the oven handle that was sanded and painted over the next day. I have absolutely no complaints and have gone through several remodeling and building projects and know how rare that is. I highly recommend cdk Kitchens and Baths.

Deciding on the plan for the kitchen remodel was difficult for us. Josh Weren spent much time providing ideas for the remodel including showing us some kitchen remodels which his company had completed. As we had decisions to make about paint color, the fireplace, countertops, etc., Josh patiently provided feedback. The project met the deadlines and budget set forth. Josh not only worked well with us, but he also had a good working relationship with the various subcontractors. We would hire his company again for future remodeling projects.

I used CDK for a bathroom project and the project came in on time and a little under budget (which was very nice!). We added a bathroom upstairs to a loft and made it into a real guest bedroom with french doora and a large closet. Working with CDK was a real pleasure as they were able to overcome every obstacle and the bathroom looks awesome!

cdk Kitchens & Bath very experienced and easy to work with. Knowledgeable in all phases of construction. Worked very well with HOA for approval process. Understood what I desired and made creative suggestions resulting in a beautiful living space. The kitchen is the kitchen I have always dreamed of......my Barefoot Contessa kitchen. Light and bright, with wonderful island that serves as food preparation area and seats five comfortably. So much additional storage was created. Space was limited in both bathrooms, and the selection of vanities, tile work and finishes work beautifully in both spaces. Master bathroom shower was fitted with custom glass door creating and amazing change to the space. So very pleased with the entire renovation. Has the "Wow!" factor when people walk through the door as they can't believe the change to the entire condo. Overall an excellent experience!
