I had the pleasure of hiring Sara (Cavaco Design Inc) to remodel my family room and master ensuite. She also helped us with suggestions for paint colours and cabinetry throughout our home. This young lady was a breath of fresh air, with numerous concepts and designs. She actually helped me think outside the box and my comfort zone to new and refreshing styles. She was prompt, on schedule and on time with pickup and appts. Im so happy with our choices and new style. Do not start a renovation without giving Sara the opportunity to assist you. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

My husband and I had the great pleasure of working with Sara Cavaco on 2 projects over the course of 2 years. We were very impressed by her experience and the way she listened closely to our ideas and requests. She is excellent at providing suggestions for planning spaces and for selecting the best materials. She presented great design ideas and recommended stores to explore and then choose high quality finishes. We relied on her expert advice for a total kitchen, master bathroom and general first floor renovation. Towards the end of our project, we also engaged Sara for a colour consultation so that our renovation had a cohesive colour palate. Sara provided the design for our bathroom renovation. She was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I moved into a new home (to me) in November, with almost no furniture. The house was also in a very basic state, with the walls more or less all painter's white. When I was looking around for furniture, and thinking about repainting, a friend recommended Sara from Cavaco Design to help with the colour choices for various rooms, as well as furniture options (both style and fit). Working with Sara was _fantastic_. Aside from a great attitude and an infectious personality, her customer service was outstanding. She worked with me to understand what my style and colour preferences were, offered suggestions and alternatives, and helped put into words the various unformed thoughts and ideas I had. It was amazing to have someone professionally facilitate and collaborate on my primary living space in order to ensure I'd be happy there. Sara designed our first floor renovation. We gutted and took down 2 load bearing walls in our 90 year old home to create an open concept kitchen, living, and dining great room. The renovation was a big one, so it was crucial that we had the right designer to guide us through the process. Sara made sure that we had quality trades people working on our house and she also managed to keep to the budget . Sara not only made sure that the space looked stylish, but it was also very functional. The furniture layouts that Sara provided us maximized our space and made sure we had plenty of seating for hosting. Sara designed our kitchen. The kitchen is a huge part of our space and daily lives. It is both functional and beautiful, very important when you have one big room! We also had a foyer designed for us that maximized storage. The foyer was beautifully designed with a few organized closets, seating, and a console table with a mirror above. It is a very welcoming and functional space for our family and guests. Sara always gave us options whenever we were making any decisions. She was professional, flexible, listened to our considerations, and had a great style sensibility. We would definitely work with her again.

I used Cavaco Design services over the years and have found Sara Cavaco easy to communicate and work with. The vision for each space was well managed and thoroughly thought out resulting in a wonderful and elegant product while still staying on budget. Cavaco Design worked on several projects ranging from Bedroom, Bathroom, Living Room, Laundry Room and Basement components.
