An accessory dwelling unit is always a valuable addition to any property and I had long planned to have one. However, at the same time, I was aware of the construction challenges to incur. I had no idea about the ADU regulations and zoning laws. The project only began to take a concrete shape after the team of Castillo Remodeling came on board. So, recently when my kitchen needed a complete remodel, I need not have to look elsewhere. I called up their office and got a prompt response to my concerns. I desperately needed more living areas and with the authorities having eased the regulations for an ADU, I decided to make use of this opportunity. However, I knew nothing about setback rules and zoning requirements and that was the hiccup. Things began to move smoothly once this professional team came on board. Castillo Remodeling assisted us with a complete tear down and remodel of our kitchen. The team were respectful of our property and diligent about their work. Truly professionals. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen designed and renovated by Castillo Remodeling. We have a modern, functional kitchen that looks amaizng. Their renovation incorporated existing architectural elements - wainscoting and plaster walls – with all new cabinetry, flooring, appliances, and tilework; and, although our space is tiny, they were able to offer two completely different designs including one that expanded the current footprint in a creative way I would never have thought of. My kitchen project was large and complex small, and Jerry and the crew were always there to listen to us and really respected our budget. Jerry was always easy to get a hold of and addressed any questions we had right away. He was very patient when I had a hard time making decisions and never made me feel rushed. His team was conscientious, hard-working, personable, and paid great attention to detail. The whole kitchen remodel process – from design through completion – went so smoothly. The 2 main spaces I consider in a home are the kitchen and the bathroom; they need to make sense. I purchased a home a few months ago. Need not say I was shock and awe when I saw the kitchen and bathrooms of the house, awkward design and totally not functional. We prefer to remodel them. A very close friend of mines recommended Castillo Remodeling for the job. We contacted Jerry and the crew were very friendly over the phone and answered all my inquiries. They came over and we expressed what we wanted. They, then, presented the renderings for both the kitchen and 2 bathrooms which wowed us. But it wasn't until the actual work started and ended that we realized how good these guys from Castillo Remodeling were. They captured our vision to every centimeter; definitely exceeded our expectations. They are very professional, courteous, and nonetheless talented. They were very communicative throughout the project which aided to deal with all remodeling construction/commotion going on. They finished on time, probably a couple days before schedule. We are very happy with their work. I want to thank my friend for recommending them, and I want to thank Castillo Remodeling for an awesome remodeling experience and for delivering. I most certainly recommend Castillo Remodeling for any home improvements.

Our remodeling project started with the wrong company that we hired for our second story addition and a complete first floor remodel on our 1100 sq. ft. house. When this happened, we left with a house that was unlivable. The walls were out of plumbing pipe, beams were missing and in a total complete mess. One of our friends recommended us to hire several companies that can come and finish the work but in the end, we felt that this will cause more and more problems. As our search kept going, we came across Castillo Remodeling and when we met with them at the house, we spoke to Jonathan and told him what we want and if it can be done. Jonathan came back to us few days after with a plan on how to take over and to complete the work so we can move in and start to enjoy our new house. While Jonathan and his team did their plans and suggestions, we did more and more research about them because we wanted to be sure that our house will be completed. After all of our additional meetings with Castillo Remodeling, we decided that we will hire them and we went forward with our remodeling project. Jonathan and his teams of skilled people rebuilt our house in a better way than it should have been done from the beginning. He was able to combine his skills and vision in order to deliver outstanding product. The house came out much more beyond our expectations. He visited the house on a daily basis and managed the crews on top of ordering all the materials and scheduling all the subcontractors that worked at the house as well. Now that the house is complete and we already moved to the house, we can mention that our house is the evidence that they know how to take any remodeling project and to complete it while making the clients happy and without any stress. Castillo Remodeling price was very reasonable for the work that they did on our home. We truly hope that no one will have to go thru our first experience, but if they do... than they need to make sure to hire the right contractor that will be able to complete any remodeling project. Castillo Remodeling is a company that I would hire again without reservation.

Castillo Remodeling team are such a pleasure to work with. I have a old home with lots of character, but its age brings with it construction and repair challenges. During the past years, since we first met, Michael and the team have undertaken a number of major projects to both repair and remodel the property – including replacing all the intricate woodwork on the front porch and updating the kitchen with some tasteful suggestions. Their knowledge and attention to detail coupled with their upbeat approach has helped to make all our projects, even the most complicated ones, go smoothly and successfully. Our most recent is our home remodel that included a major re-flooring and wall repair. They have done a beautiful flooring job all over our main floor including the great room, kitchen, laundry/study room and powder bath. They are simply stunning! We had the Balboa Oak hardwood flooring installed as it went well with the light and bright theme we were going for in our home! From the wide planks to the color, we couldn't go wrong! Absolutely love them! Michael and his skilled team clearly pride themselves on delivering a high standard of craftsmanship and service. The workmen show up on time and are polite. They are also trustworthy and respectful of one's home. We are grateful that we can call on Castillo Remodeling’s assistance as the need arises and would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, conscientious and talented contractor.
