Extremely unprofessional. Recommend shopping elsewhere for your glass or shower needs. I’m still shocked by the attitude and aggressiveness of Kelley. They attempted to charge me an additional $850 just because I live in a building. They cited “Logistics” as the reason. But this is a scam that many contractors pull as a way to upcharge for no reason. Especially with a single day, single visit install. When I tried to mail Kelley on what exact Logistics justified the fee, as expected. She got snooty and rattled off a bunch of vague, non-descript words like Parking, Manpower and again, Logistics. It’s a 20 foot walk to my elevator. Parking (loading dock) is free. Nothing she said held any water and she knew it. Ultimately I said I would pay, but she replied that I could go find someone else to do the job. Left us sitting here with nobody to do the work. She also knew we were on an urgent timeline and yet seemed to revel in the snark of telling me “tough luck!” It’s one thing to disagree on something. It’s another thing to refuse to justify your fee with a rational explanation. It’s another thing entirely to rudely dump the client for asking a rational question. Unacceptable.

It is very disappointing to receive this type of feedback from a client but yet very positive input from his designers who we worked with over several weeks to try and pull together this material within a very short timeframe given. Unfortunately when living in a high rise building the effort it takes to install "jumbo" size panels, scheduling the service elevator for transport, is not the same as delivering a refrigerator to a loading dock, his example. Having done many projects in his building we were not willing to absorb extra men to support this location, not to mention lack of parking of the glass trucks (2) and carrying materials from the parking location into the building to the 17th floor. Had we known at the beginning of the quote all aspects of the detail of this job, this would have been quoted accordingly at the beginning and might not have created the angry response received from the homeowner when a revised quote was submitted to add on the extra labor. The client felt he was the expert with regards to what was involved and his offer to pay the extra monies only "IF" he was satisfied with the service. We try to always be as accommodating as possible and our past clientele speaks for itself. We recommended this individual to feel free to obtain alternate quotes which he could use the CGI layouts which outlined the hardware & configuration for a quick turnaround from other glass organizations, but was met with more hostility. We decided at that point as an organization not to pursue this contract since it was only at the quote stage and avoid subjecting our field employees to this type of behavior. We wish the client all the best and are confident he will partner with another glass company that will meet or exceed his requirements.

20+ years ago, Michael designed numerous drop-dead gorgeous projects for me. Not only are they all show-stoppers, he really stands behind his work. Recently, I told him I was having trouble with the handle on my 20-year-old custom glass door. Although that model handle was no longer available, he found a nearly-identical new handle for me and installed it, all without trip charging for the two visits required, all with a smile. See the door pictured here and also the three custom modesty panels he designed for my master bath. He and his employees and his work are wonderflul!

We love our cast glass! The design team and glass artisans did a beautiful job creating stunning glass inserts for our entry doors in Hawaii. Kelly, the office manager, made the entire process from ordering to shipping seamless. She worked with our local door manufacturer here on Maui to ensure that the glass fit perfectly and arrived safely. Our local door manufacturer was impressed with both the beauty of the glass and how professionally it was crated to ensure it arrived undamaged. I love this company! Ive done multiple projects with them. Such a pleasure to deal with! Their staff includes in house artists tech support specialists and best customer service professionals ever. No matter how complex your project is they are always happy to engage to get ig done to everyone's satisfaction. I can't imagine why everyone doesn't use them. Truly a pleasure.

My review is long long long overdue as Michael, Chris, and Kelley at Cast Glass Images are not only incredibly talented but treat customers with the utmost care and provide outstanding customer service. I contacted Cast Glass to create custom painted glass panels for our kitchen which involves numerous challenges with uneven walls and other poor construction issues. During each call, Michael was generous with his time and impressive knowledge as we discussed how to implement the panels to create the kitchen I envisioned. Michael is not only an artist. Having extensively studied chemistry combined with a keen understanding on how to create safe and solid long-lasting structures one would think impossible, Michael continues to move the "ball" forward. Kelley consistently corresponded with me regarding changes, lighting questions, and final scheduling dates. I couldn't believe how quickly she replied with inquiries and in some cases, Michael would make a follow-up call to ensure I understood the process as it involved quite a few challenges. The day Chris and Michael arrived to install the panels they were on time, promptly brought in all glass and materials needed, worked hours on one side until it was perfect, and left the kitchen so clean you would never know they were there until you turn to see the beautiful glass installation that transformed the kitchen. I am so fortunate I found Michael and Cast Glass Images originally on Houzz.com then Yelp. The best way to describe them is Best in Class. So, if you want something stunning and truly remarkable, you need to call Cast Glass Images as you will be amazed by what they can create for you!
