We have been really impressed by creativity and attention to the detail shown by Carib and his staff. The quality and originality of the design went beyond the expectations.

Carib and his partner, Gabriela, were excellent to work with throughout the entire design and building process for the rebuild of our tiny 1941 rambler. The initial design options they shared helped us imagine multiple possibilities. They incorporated creativity and style that matched the aesthetic we were interested in so that we could explore these as we made our decisions on the final design. They led us through a methodical process that helped us identify and focus in on what we liked. Throughout the entire design process their approach provided us with a great deal of comfort and confidence as we made difficult decisions. Carib worked in conjunction with our builder at key points from the initial estimates to the final walk through. He worked with us on ways we could economize when necessary while still conserving the integrity of the architectural design. While we could visualize the flow of the design before the house was built, once the construction was complete, the design was better than we ever could have imagined. Once we moved back into the house we deeply appreciated the beauty of the design elements he envisioned. Some of these include windows that capture the light and allow us to enjoy our views of the outdoors to a double sided fireplace that is a beautiful focal point on our first floor. We had an excellent builder as well but having Carib and his team guiding us through this process made everything proceed very smoothly. I highly recommend Carib and his team to anyone interested in a small to large home renovation or construction. He is an excellent communicator, planner, facilitator and architect. Not to mention, he and Gabriela are fun to work with!

We hired Carib for a total gut job on our 1920s row home and we could not have done it without him and his team. Not only did we get a beautiful home that met our every dream, Carib and his team made it stress free for us. In the planning stage Carib listened to us about our wants and needs for how we used the space and gave us plenty of options on how to balance our needs and our budget. Communication was easy and timely. He walked us through the bidding process and was with us at every step as we talked to contractors and he helped us negotiate and set up a pay schedule. He managed construction for us and his attention to detail was phenomenal. As we went through the house each week, he made sure everything was correct. He made sure that the duct work was the right size, that our plumbing fixtures met grout lines just so and that every detail was perfect. Carib also did our interior selections, a service we initially thought we didn’t need, but now recommend to everyone. Not only do we have full time jobs and don’t have time to pick out lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, tile, paint, etc. but we don’t have the experience or eye to bring all these elements together for a cohesive look. Carib not only designed each room individually but kept the big picture in mind. He also knows great vendors and resources so we got great deals and interesting fixtures. Our home has unique and functional features that set it apart. We love our home and cannot believe it is ours most days. It is beautiful, light-filled and functional. It meets our needs and wants! Carib and his team were foundational to that success. They helped us draw out our vision and then executed it. Everyone was delightful to work with and had a sense of humor that made it easy to talk to. We always knew we could call Carib with any question and that he would take the time to make sure we understood the answer. I could not recommend him more highly and do frequently to anyone who asks (and many who don't) about our house.

Carib and Gabriela carefully took into consideration our aesthetic and budgetary goals before offering several conceptual options. Then they took our choice to a level of design and function that blew us away: marrying the craftsmanship of a 1937 house, with good bones, to more contemporary ideals of an open floor plan, abundance of natural light, and inviting indoor/outdoor spaces. To this day, we love our home’s design and happily engage passers-by who inquire and complement it. Carib and Gabriela's attention to detail ranged from the necessary expertise in engineering matters to thoughtful, tasteful recommendations on fixtures and furnishings. We took full advantage of their intimate knowledge of our home’s design by enlisting them with the additional role of overseeing the project’s construction. The subsequent regular engagement between them and our general contractor led to the avoidance of unexpected errors, a more expeditious timeline towards completion, and additional cost savings. We not only consider Carib and Gabriela to be great architectural minds but also good friends.

Carib helped us translate our vision to transform our house, originally built in 1934, into a contemporary living space that is in equal parts beautiful and functional. Working with Carib was an absolute pleasure. He was extremely focused on listening to us, asked questions about how we envisioned using the space, and in the process developed a keen sense of who we are, our daily life, and how the house needed to fit in with that. He was a strong advocate for us throughout the construction process. He both helped us make choices, and leveraged his connections with various vendors to allow us to complete the project within our budget, and to the specifications we had in mind when we got started. Excellent ideas and execution. Outstanding communication skills. Very highly recommended.

Carib was an awesome partner in our kitchen remodel (which included a major bump out). It was a 12 month process from end to end. He was patient as we reviewed drawings, detail oriented when it came to managing the contractor and a great design adviser as we selected all the fixtures, lights, marble etc. Carib was very easy to work with and very responsive even to the craziest questions. The finished product is fantastic. I highly recommend Carib.

Highly recommend Carib's firm. Carib is very easy to work with, super organized and has the best attitude toward renovation. Whatever issues came up, he'd figure out a solution. Carib incorporates natural light and designs with beautiful clean lines. He was always available to answer my questions during the project and we still keep in touch.
