California Closets North Jersey, currently owned by Julie (Ginsberg) LaFranco and her husband, Bob LaFranco, has been a successfully-run family business since 1984. Originally founded by Julie’s parents, Marty & Ruthie Ginsberg, the northern New Jersey location continues to bring life-changing organization to its community and surrounding cities. Throughout the years, other family members have joined their team, including Shellie (Ginsberg) Topper – senior design consultant, and David Ginsberg – installation manager, making the northern New Jersey location a true family affair. Our Fairfield facility includes a design center that offers you the opportunity to experience our products first-hand, with over 15 displays. We understand your need to "try before you buy," and we encourage you to visit, take a look around and let us help you discover your unique design solution. Our facility also has a modern, organized shop where we manufacture each system using the latest computerized machinery and technology. We also have a retail showroom located in Bernardsville, NJ.

California Closets in Fairfield has provided top-notch service and product for over 30 years. I actually moved my closets from my NJ home to DC, then to CO and they eventually ended up in our NM house and they still look fabulous and are so functional! The Ginsberg Family is iconic in New Jersey, and they are the ORIGINAL Home Edit! I still use all of the organizing tricks and tips I learned from the experience years ago. Thank you for everything!!! ♥

Linda McHale and the California Closet team were phenomenal to work with. They are timely, organized, creative and incredibly patient. My husband and I have late work hours and Linda stayed late on multiple occasions to ensure our closet was designed exactly to fit our needs. The organization overall is taking all the necessary COVID precautions, and even with the pandemic they were accommodating with the install date. I cannot recommend this company and Linda enough. Mike and Tim did a flawless job with the install and were very respectful of our home. Do yourself a favor and go build your dream closet!

Fantastic customer service and communication all around! The California Closets team really knows how to keep clients informed at every step of the process. From our designer, to scheduling, to the builders, we were very pleased and highly recommend. California Closets truly delivers beautiful and quality closets at fair prices. The exceptional service is a much added benefit. Looking forward to another project!

We love using Shellie from California Closets on our custom designs. After designing the bedrooms of our clients dreams, there is nothing better than finishing their closets off with a California Closet. Shellie’s designs are always spot on. She incorporates the clients needs with an incredible aesthetic. We would highly recommend them to our clients.

Nancy Love helped us design perfect closets within our budget. We got an installation date ahead of schedule and the actual installation was great. The installation team was quick and tidy. The closets look amazing!!

Everything was PERFECT from beginning to end. Allison was a dream to work with. She was thoughtful, creative and efficient. She was not at all "sales-y" and never pressured me. Melissa was friendly and prompt with her contacting and information. Charles was curteous and meticulous. Sean was very pleasant, skilled and professional. Even though we had the world's strangest issue (no fault of CC at all) after installation, it has already been resolved and we have only had our closet for 3 days!! Every home project should be this pleasant, fun and simple. (Score 10 out of 10)

Very professional all the way from initial customer interaction , show-room experience, design, installation Very impressed with the ability to create computer design at the comfort of my house. Very smooth/slick work by the installers. They took care of cleaning up the work space and shining up the glass panes of the cabinets.

We would like to take a moment to speak to the amazing work that was performed by Greg. He is a diligent worker, extremely professional and completed meticulous work so quickly that we were amazed how he got it all done in such a short time, singularly. We were so pleased with his work with the first extensive work that we had done in our home, that we specifically requested him again for another assignment. We are extremely happy with the California Closer experience and would highly recommend it, and he is a major part of that recommendation. The quality of work and timeliness is exceptional. We hope that the appropriate management receives the feedback specific to Greg and that it is recognized. Thank you, Michele and Chris K.

Horrible customer service. There were several problems with the closets after the installation, and getting them fixed has been extremely difficult and time consuming. The service department has a habit of ignoring phone messages and e-mails, taking long periods of time to get service visits scheduled, and not following up or through. It's been two years since the closet installation and the company still hasn't gotten everything sorted out. Very aggravating.

California Closets were amazing. The helped my organize three closets in my home and added much more space. We were able to discuss the design and then view immediatly!!! What a charm! I will recommend them to ANYONE.
