Gies Architects, Inc. has been in business in the Vail Valley of Colorado since 1987. We are an award-winning residential and commercial architecture firm specializing in mountain resort home design. Gies Architects is a relatively small firm, which allows all staff members to be actively involved in all aspects of the design process–from conceptual design through construction documents. Members of our design staff are very knowledgeable about the unique requirements necessary to design and detail projects located in our mountainous area. Gies Architects prides itself on an extremely high quality of design, attention to detail, understanding and addressing budgets and total commitment to the client. Firm Background and Highlights: -Principal is a Licensed Architect by the State of Colorado and active member of the American Institute of Architects. -Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Software is used extensively. -We maintain an extremely strong list of client references. -All members of the design staff have extensive experience and knowledge of the budget process, time schedules and construction methods. We spend a good deal of time “in the field” during construction. -A multi-discipline design firm–we can offer landscape design as well as interior design services. -Member of the Eagle Valley Home Builders Association and the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce.
