A master craftsman. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and reasonably priced. Ike re-upholstered three heirlooms for me. The pièce de résistance is the 12 1/2 foot, two-piece curved leather sofa he meticulously hand-crafted. It is a gorgeous work of art and a functional piece of furniture. Ike gave me his undivided attention to work out the design and the dimensions. It was a pleasure working with him and the end product far exceeds my expectations. If I could, I would give him ten stars! Thank you, Ike!

I contracted with this company to reupholster a sofa and chair. Ike was very professional and kept his appointments. He was helpful with selecting fabric and suggestions, but not pushy. The sofa and chair were returned when promised and look great. It is like having new furniture.

Highly recommend !!!! Beautiful work and personal, come to your home and take care of everything service. I was doubtful a 10 year old Bassett sofa could look like a model piece reupholstered, but IKE with Burlap made my vision come true. A Fully zippered, trimmed slipcover that looks better than the original upholstery design.! Thrilled with the cost, value and service. I even gave my inlaws his card!!!!!!. I'm a customer for liife. Period.

We have worked with Ilkka for years and he is our go-to custom upholstery person. The quality and craftsmanship speaks for itself. Most importantly, he asks the right questions, and is very detailed, in order to get the results we are looking for. We can't speak more highly of him, and he's all around just a pleasure to work with.

Everything about my experience with Burlap Studio was excellent. It was a high level professional experience - from consultation to delivery and set up of finished furniture. My ideas and feedback were respected and listened to. I was so appreciative of their expertise, they knew how to do everything with the highest quality in mind. I have completed multiple projects with them and each time it's the same high end service with exceptional craftsmanship. I look forward to working with them again one day.
