The reason I gave four stars and not five is there is always room for improvement. With that said I was very pleased with the results of Build Tech. From their architect to their foreman and all subs in-between they worked with speed, efficiency and courtesy. Build Tech had good energy and excitement for our project from start to finish. All projects have mistakes but how those mistakes are handled is what is important. And the finished results are great.

We had been discussing a remodel when our house was flooded by hurricane Harvey. We worked with BuildTech to recover and remodel our home. I have done remodels before and had a good idea of what the project would cost and approximately how long it would take. Although the project took a bit longer than expected (and how could it NOT after such a massive hit to the market) my wife and I love our new home. Most importantly the cost was perfectly in-line with our our pre-storm estimates. I never worried like many of our neighbors that pressured, gouged and outright robbed by contractors preying on desperate people. Regardless of who you choose for your remodel or new build there will be challenges and setbacks. You must be realistic and make sure you have a good partner in the process. Leymir took the project by the horns and brought it over the finish line.

BuildTech did a great job rebuilding my second story deck after it started caving in due to rot and water damage. They completely demolished the existing structure that was poorly built and rebuilt it the right way.

We feel extremely lucky to have found Kirt and his team! I had contacted two other contractors to bid on our remodel/addition work (bathroom remodel, accent wall and construct outdoor entrainment area) and was disappointed with the others that were not responsive (one didn’t even show up!), even in the bidding process when they should be trying to “win” our work. Kirt on the otherhand, was always prompt with his responses and that did not change after we hired him. He stayed in constant communication and provided oversight of our project to ensure the best quality work and timely completion. Despite us making a few changes to the plan, they remained on time and finished the project as promised and it all looks amazing! We genuinely could not be more pleased. I would absolutely recommend Kirt and plan to use him again when I have other projects or construction needs!
