Covenant Building & Design

Purchased a “custom-built” home with a floor dedicated to my business from Covenant Building and Design in 2020. The subpar construction they provided led to constant repairs, water damage, retrofitting of major systems, newly presenting asthma in one child, toxic black mold (lab confirmed in the wet ductwork and airborne), and regular displacement from our home for repairs. Our punch list of 100+ items in 2020 is still unfinished. Upgrades paid for were never completed. There are crooked stairs, unfinished banisters, gaps in doors, broken windows, water leaks, an entire exterior wall left unpainted, missing gutters, a defective front porch, electrical outages, fire hazards, structural deficiencies, etc. We had an inspection to outline and photograph the deficiencies and submitted pictures of standing water and intrusion to Covenant that went ignored. In June of 2022 our second-floor ceiling caved in from the weight of the accumulation. Two managers inspected the demolished ceiling but would not give us their insurance contact for coverage. I contacted the owner directly thinking surely, if he knew he would not leave the situation unabated. I was very wrong. Refusal to remove damage led to mold, a gutting of the crawlspace and full remediation and the loss of tens of thousands of dollars. We have a complaint filed with ****.

We built our dream home with Covenant Building and Design and what a dream it was! We are so pleased with final product, sometimes we have to pinch ourselves to remind each other - we get to live here! Adam and Megan and their team are delightful to work with, paying close attention to each detail as if they were building their own home. And they are super fun, making what seems like an insurmountable task manageable and actually enjoyable. They are good listeners and problem solvers, which was extremely important for the building process. They were able to hear our goals for our new home and turn it into reality. And their level of expertise shows in the quality of the final product, as our home is beautiful from the standpoint of both architecture and interior design. We wholeheartedly recommend CBD!

Words can't describe how pleased we were with our Covenant Building experience. Adam and Megan were professional and proactive throughout the process. The building of our home stayed on schedule and the product is simply beautiful. We actually can't believe we get to live in this house! Adam's expertise in lot choice and construction options was unmatched. Megan is an incredibly talented designer, which was a plus I didn't expect from a builder. She helped us so much with our design choices, which otherwise would have seemed a monumental task. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to build a house with Covenant Building and Design.

Covenant Building and Design goes above and beyond in their quality and customer service. They communicate with the customer and make them feel like your house is the only house they're building. We have enjoyed our experience with them so much and can't say enough about them. Adam and Megan are the quintessential masters in dealing with their customers and their contractors are held to the same high standard. Anyone would be lucky to have them build a home for them.
