I hired Copper Electrical Service to complete work in a brand new home that I bought. Brian installed 8 ceiling fans, installed several light dimmers (wall switches) and mounted 2 brand new (large TV's). In mounting the two TV's, Brian confirmed that both were mounted into the wall studs so that they were secure; however, after several days of installation, I noticed that one TV was coming out of the wall (it was hanging off the wall and not properly secured). At this point, I did not know what was wrong so I immediately contacted Brian. He stated he would come out to fix it. I had to go out of town and told him I would call him upon my return so I took the TV off the wall and placed it on the floor. Upon my return, I found that my 2nd large TV was also coming out of the wall. I was extremely angry because if either TV's had fallen, there would have been over $5,000 worth of damage. I immediately obtained the opinion of a 2nd electrical contractor and he confirmed that neither of the TV's were mounted in the studs. I contacted Brian. He asked to repair them and I told him that he was dishonest with me (he lied and said he had mounted the TV's in the studs but did not) and I no longer trusted him to do any repairs. I also told him that I hired the services of another contractor who now needed to fix the job. I asked Brian how he was going to handle this. He confirmed that I paid him $200 for installation and he agreed to refund my money. Since this conversation, I never received a refund and Brian has now refused to provide one to me.
