Melissa loves helping her clients' breathe new life into their homes. She specializes in creating homes for busy professionals and their families that desire less chaos and more thoughtful, functional and beautiful spaces. She works closely with her clients to create a space that is tailored to their lifestyle. She takes pride in being genuine, practical, and responsive to her clients needs - but is all the while able to visualize and bring to fruition a space that her clients could have never imagined on their own, but will love for years to come. Melissa is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. She loves to travel to new places, spend time at the beach, stroll vintage/antique shops, and dabble in photography. Melissa acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design/Sales & Marketing at Utah State University in 2004. She worked at various design firms & furniture showrooms where she enhanced her knowledge and love for both traditional and contemporary design. in 2011, Melissa moved to Florence, South Carolina with her husband and children. Soon after, she opened Melissa Boyer Interiors so she could continue to help clients' design their homes while raising a family

I really enjoyed working with Melissa to transform my master bedroom and bathroom. I was looking for help with making both spaces more tranquil and functional as I have mobility issues and need to use a wheelchair and walker to move around my house. I thought this would be a massive challenge but Melissa came up with a beautiful design for our bathroom that was at the same time safe and functional. We enjoyed what she did so much with the master bathroom, that I had her help redesign my daughters' bathroom and also help us pick colors for our kitchen cabinets and walls. Melissa was very prompt in answering any questions I might have and was very conscientious of the budget that we had to work with for every space. I would recommend Melissa to others and would use her again.

I wanted to transform my outdated family room into a vibrant updated space before putting our house on the market. I wanted pieces that would fit not only my existing space but would also fit into an undetermined new location. Melissa was able to accomplish that while creating style, function and comfort all in one space. She was able to take pieces from my existing decor and incorporate those into the new design creating a cohesive space while saving money on accessories. On our first meeting she came to my home and took notes, listened to my needs and took lots of pictures. We were able to easily keep in contact through emails, phone calls and texts. Melissa is very professional, works well within a time and aims to please her clients. I highly recommend Melissa!

My husband and I worked with Melissa Boyer to decorate our new home. Melissa was professional and listened to what both my husband I liked as far as home decor. Melissa then put together a design that we love. She also responded quickly to any questions or concerns we may have had. We really enjoyed working with Melissa and look forward to working with her in the future.

Highly recommend Melissa. She did an excellent job for our church sanctuary. You will not be disappointed. Very easy to work with and took our ideas and made it beautiful.

Melissa did a fantastic job helping me pick out new furniture, flooring, and wall color. She found accessories and an area rug that really tied everything together perfectly! Staying within my budget was important and Melissa was able to do that. I love my living room!

This was the first time I have used the services of a home decorator. I enjoyed working with Melissa. She was very patient and worked hard to get the end result I was searching for. She was diligent in searching for fabrics, furniture, paint colors and rugs that were perfect. She is willing to do as much or as little as you want, not pushy. I would absolutely use Melissa again and would recommend her to anyone. She is prompt and does what she says she will.

I highly recommend Melissa. She is professional and polite. She took her time to listen to my concerns and issues regarding the current status of my house. Her recommendations are helpful, and we are now starting to implement them. I will definitely call Melissa again when I need help.

Melissa just completed an e-design for my living room. I don't know how she captured my personality; it's exactly what I wanted, but could never have pulled together for myself. I intend to use her again for my bedroom and bath. She nailed it!

Melissa is awesome. Recently married, my husband and I live in a craftmen style bungalow built in the 1930s. Room by room, Melissa continues to successfully blend my eclectic nature with my husband's modern sense of style. She is creative, a great listener, knowledgable, and very NICE! Her use of color, eye for fixtures, and attention to detail has helped us to create a happily-ever-after cottage that feels like home.

From the initial consultation Melissa was very professional and thorough. She has great taste and can decorate any area as she did in my salon. She made Bare Wax Studio and Salon the most elegant salon in this area. Thanks Melissa!!

Melissa is a very talented designer. She's one of the few that I would hire for my own home. That's because she has excellent taste and the patience to deal with my nervousness. Melissa has the experience needed to be able to tackle any job with total confidence and finesse. She's easy going and fun too!

Melissa was an amazing, awesome decorator for me. This was a few years ago but I still receive compliments on the work she did for me. She picked out the tile for the backsplash in my kitchen and the paint colors on all of the walls which are perfect!!! She was always pleasant, prompt, and accurate in her selection but did not hesitate to correct me when I picked out something that would not look good, she was right on!!! I miss her living here in Salt Lake City very much as I do not think I can find another decorator that would please me that much.
