Bobbie is a first-class pro who knows her stuff. She has an enthusiasm and an infectious personality with which she bonded to my clients immediately. She makes staging fun and interesting; both my clients and I learned a lot. The details she attends to are impressive. She is obviously aiming for perfection if that is where the sellers want to go, yet she is laid back enough to adjust to those with less time/money available or the inclination to go that far. Because her advice was followed, the home looked fabulous for the professional photographer whom Bobbie recommended and who did an excellent job. I highly recommend Bobbie McGrath—I am fortunate to have had someone so skilled in my area to hire—and plan to again!

Bobbie McGrath has helped us transform two houses from ordinary to extraordinary beauty and livability. The first house was a sales situation in which the online presentation was so striking that the first (and only) day the house was on the market turned into such a mob scene that realtors referred to it as the party house. The second house is a large vacation home that Bobbie transformed first by rearranging the furniture and furnishings to create visual impact while also improving flow and utility. Next she advised on paint colors that serve to integrate many of the features of the house with warmth and harmony both inside and out. Finally she provided many ideas for special touches, such as frosted glass, to enhance the beauty of the house. She is an encyclopedia of do-it-yourself tips to go along with her decorating recommendations. Throughout our work with Bobbie she has been the ultimate professional and simply a nice caring person that always does what she says she will.

My realtor recommended Bobbie for staging my home prior to listing it for sale. My home had so much potential, but over the years I had collected more plants, decor and other "stuff" than I knew what to do with. Bobbie was able to see through the clutter, instruct me what to pack/minimize and what to focus on. She was the ultimate professional; never did I feel embarrassed at the state of my home, which needed some TLC & deep cleaning. Instead, she made me feel very confident about getting the house ready with her calm confidence. After walking through my home, she provided a prioritized list of things I should accomplish before listing. She also made it clear to let her know of those items on the list I wouldn't/couldn't accomplish so that she could offer a work-around. Just prior to photographs and listing, she was extremely helpful in placing items, showing me some great ways to make bedding look phenomenal and continued to show kindness, grace and patience. Bobbie is very down-to-earth, fun and easy to talk to. She chose a beautiful color palate for my home's interior and exterior paint that I would have never had the confidence to pick. I would recommend her to anyone needing help making decisions prior to listing. The icing on the cake from this experience was my home selling the first day it was shown.

I figured out a long time ago that if I don't meet my client where they are my advice will be of little use.

I hired Bobbie McGrath after doing some research on home stagers available in the Raleigh, NC area. Her very positive reviews on Houzz and other sites was the most influential factor in my decision. And, it was a very GOOD decision! We chose a 2-hour consultation and planned to do most of the work ourselves. Bobbie is positive and professional and looks for creative solutions to using what you already have in order to stage. We bought less than $200 of new items to stage. She gives very specific advice about where to move furniture and art and lighting. She remembers decorative items from room to room, then tries to use them in a new, fresh way. Bobbie's job is to get potential buyers to your house, so she focuses on staging your house to produce the best pictures possible. She also has a list of vetted contractors should you need to use one - we used a painter and carpet stretcher she recommended and were pleased with results and cost. I won't sugar coat it. Staging your house is work, but we found the experience to be well worth it. Our house sold on the first day for list price. If you're selling in the Raleigh, NC area, it's a no brainer. Hire Bobbie!

Our real estate agent/friend recommended Bobbie and working with her has been a great experience. She is professional, talented and very personable. We spent three hours walking through our home both inside and out. We plan to put our home on the market in early 2016 and Bobbie helped me develop a plan to get it ready. We discussed improvements such as painting, light fixtures and carpeting. She dissuaded me from several plans I had that would not be worth the investment. Bobbie was thorough and followed up with every promise. I give her very high marks and will have her back before we put our home on the market!

Bobbie helped me get my house ready to list for sale. She is very efficient and knows what is important to a potential buyer. She was extremely helpful in making a list of Top 10 items for me to concentrate my efforts. Also, she is willing to do as much or as little in order to stay within my budget. Once I took care of my items, she came in and staged the place beautifully and worked with what I already had. The value of her services was tremendous to me! I would highly recommend her.

Bobbie McGrath of Successful Staging was a huge help in getting our house ready for sale. First, she came highly recommended. She had staged my sister's home and it sold in 5 days. We asked her out to our home last April, a year before we were ready to sell, because we knew we needed some upgrades. She has an amazing eye for color, light, space, and shape and gave us just the advice we needed to do the changes that were really needed and would make the most impact. She is so easy to work with and makes the process much more fun than you imagine. This is partly because you can really see how much improvement each step makes. We worked through that list last year. Much of which we could do ourselves. Last month we asked her out again for a final review. Once again, her advice helped us arrange, de-clutter, and add more light and color to our home to show it to it's best advantage. After that I emailed her photos of what I had done and she generously gave us final advice on the phone. I can't thank her enough. She explained her rationale behind each recommendation so I learned from her, she offered us advice on how to accomplish the changes with the best providers at the lowest cost, and she used our possessions where possible to further minimize our outlay of money. I like our home now better than it was before and would love her to help up on the other end of our move. Perhaps by phone. Thank heavens for Facetime!

Bobbie McGrath, principal with Successful Staging in Raleigh, NC, has done an outstanding job helping me get my house ready for the spring selling season. I had the property on the market last year and it didn't sell. My Realtor did a lot of amateurish staging so when Bobbie was recommended I was rather skeptical. Boy was I wrong. She is a true professional with an outstanding eye and excellent experience. She arrived exactly on time for our initial appointment with a warm smile and engaging disposition, Since she charges by the hour I was impressed at how quickly she went straight to work. Everything she recommended... wall painting, cabinet painting colors, wallpaper (elimination), rug replacement / removal, room layout, adding / deleting relocating photos / paintings, carpet replacement / cleaning, kitchen and bathroom hardware suggestions and most importantly, economical updating of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. And speaking of economical, even though I didn't give her a budget, she was ever mindful of what things cost... continuously recommending that I not do half of the rings I suggested due to their expense and likely low return on the investment. In the end she prioritized her recommendations for my consideration and left it to me to decide how far I wanted to go. As a widower who though he had pretty good decorating tastes I wish I had used Bobbie a year ago and can assure you that I will not let this house be listed without my agent using her for consultation and advice for the with the photo shoot and showings.

We had a 7000 sq ft home we were looking to sell and were told from the get-go it would take at least a year to sell in this market. Our realtor brought in Bobbie and her team. Bobbie was great to work with and very accommodating! As she went through the process of staging our home she continually asked me if I would like to have a say in carpet colors, paint colors and the like. I said, "No. This is not my house any more. Do what you need to do to sell it." The subs were great and in a very short period of time the changes were made. Five months later, we had an offer and sold the house. Now, I obviously can't gaurantee that kind of turn-around, but I can guarantee that if you work with Bobbie and her team you will get cutting edge advice, an amazing team of contractors to do the work and someone who is incredibly responsive.
