Board by Design

We at BBD produce modern furniture and accessories to solve today’s space and design issues. Our distinctive approach is modern, playful and innovative, yet extremely functional. BBD only uses wood that is environmentally sustainable, smart harvested or repurposed to produce brilliant, handcrafted organizational solutions. And we thoughtfully make it all in our Colorado studio. Our mission is to contribute to the betterment of everyday living by bringing a product to you that is well designed, well made and intended to inspire happiness for every user. Board by Design was founded in 2002, based in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. Founder Brad Reed Nelson has a BFA in Functional Design from Murray State University and an MFA in Sculpture from Arizona State University.
