I had the pleasure of seeing your home on Bell when you opened it for a tour of Houston designer's homes. I thought it was stunning then and seeing it again in the pictures offered here, I still do. I visited all the projects offered on this sight and I can only say that I think your work is stunning. You do relaxed elegance better than I've ever seen it done and that is a a style of interior design that especially appeals to me. My husband is a semi-retired architect and he shares my enthusiasm for you work. In a world seemingly obsessed with all rooms being grey and all upholstery white or, worse yet, rooms that have "pop" are "glam" or have "pizazz", I love beautiful deep colors, and still like "brown furniture" as the younger generation refers to beautiful wood pieces. Thank you for being a stylish and traditional light in decoration that seems to be given over to the latest fads.

Working with Bill Stubbs is a dream. He has the ability to create a house that reflects you. and your lifestyle through colors, textures and lighting. He is infinitely qualified to design any style that you desire. He is able to discern from listening what it is you want and desire. This is the 2nd remodel of our 50+ yr. old home that Bill Stubbs has completed. As our family grew we needed more open entertaining areas and bedrooms. He designed a lovely outdoor space and turned a 1 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath dated ranch style house into a 4 elegant bedrooms, 6 bath updated home without compromising the integrity of the outside of the house. He raised ceiling heights and added cove lighting in the common areas. I now have a "laundry" room with iron gates, beautiful wallpaper and cabinetry, and lots of working areas for folding, crafts. My new master closet is a dream with glass panels, sliding cabinets,and shelving.

Bill Stubbs and his associate, Phyllis Stepp, are an absolute delight to work with. They are presently helping my husband and me with designing, remodeling and expanding our existing beach house in Galveston, TX. They each have a wonderful eye not only for interior design, but for the entire scope of a project from maximizing our views to the water, to an entire makeover of our kitchen, living and dining areas as well as master bedroom and bath. This is the second time I have worked with Bill and can't say enough nice things about him. He also was the interior designer for our house in Houston. Not only is he very professional, but has a wonderful, pleasing personality. He is tactful, especially in his dealing with clients who might not be able to understand the "whole picture" of his plans for their projects. He also has a great sense of humor and is just plain fun to work with. I would be happy to submit before and after pictures when our present project is complete, which should be the end of October. I highly recommend Bill for any design job, whether large or small.

Mr. Stubbs has designed at least 7 homes for us over the last 30 years - one of which was featured in Architectural Digest. We are starting number 8 this year - a huge project which we would not consider undertaking without his expertise. He is great to work with and the results are phenomenal. Outstanding is the word I keep using when I describe his work to others. Our last home - over 10,000 square feet - was finished on time and on budget. What more can I say????? He has refurbished our vacation home since our family home was completed. This was done in 2012. It is gorgeous!
