Aetna Pest Control Limited

I hired Bill to renovate my triplex in midtown as I was referred to Bill from a number of respected trades in the area. I needed a contractor who was creative, thorough, organized, patient, and most importantly trusted, as I could not be on site very much. The renovation was extensive, with structural and plumbing permits and required myself and my tenants to vacate for 4 months (8 months once Covid arrived in March). Bill and team proved to be exactly what I was looking for; they enabled me to focus on my work, with no need to worry about the renovation. Tina and I came up with a beautiful design that turned into a fantastic finished product. I have 2 new very happy tenants; and a spectacular unit I love living in. The renovation was truly transformational; and my tenants are paying increased rent which is paying for this renovation. I love Bill even more on the 1st of each month when the rent cheques arrive. I can’t thank him enough and whole heartily recommend Bill and his team. L. Murphy

We had WC Meek renovate the top two floors of our house including a complete new kitchen with load bearing wall removal. We were extremely happy with the quality of the work. The project was completed on time allowing us to move back in without having any issues with the short term rental we had arranged. Most importantly it was completed on Budget. We recently had WC Meek do a small renovation to our basement and once again we were very pleased with the results. The staff at WC Meek are competent professional and friendly with great attention to detail. They prepare the site well and clean up everyday making them a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a contractor to finish your project on time and on budget with outstanding quality give WC Meek a call.

Bill Meek Design and Construction came highly recommended to us from some good friends. We were fortunate enough to have seen many projects he had completed for them, over the years. With that in mind, we met with Bill to discuss our renovation. We were very impressed in his knowledge of the renovation process along with his design expertise. Bills tag line “Build in theory before you build in reality” is true to how he operates his company. Bill plans out every detail during the extensive planning process. Bill and company were a pleasure to have in our home, always courteous, clean, tidy and considerate. The construction site was always kept safe, clean and they were very mindful of our neighbors and City ordinances. We continue to use Bill’s 360 Home service for any maintenance and ongoing repairs needed in our 70-year-old home, as well as a new commercial project for my company. We would highly recommend Bill Meek Design and Construction.

We would highly recommend WC Meek Design and Construction. In making our decision to renovate our home we considered a number of options, including moving. Bill was very patient with us, working through a number of designs and considerations. We finally landed on staying put in our home and selecting Bill for the renovations. We have no regrets - now approaching three years since the job's completion. He turned a modest sized bungalow into an amazing functional and well laid out home, adding square footage where we didn't even know you could - including the addition of an ensuite within the existing footprint. Bill and his crew are true professionals. They were awesome to work with during the job, and Bill was there for us for a few small fixes afterwards that are inevitable with a job of this size and scope. Best way to describe the work of WC Meek's is to quote house guests - who's comments range from "wow" to this is "really beautiful."

Hello, I moved to downtown Toronto in March 2020. I moved to a 2+1 bedroom condo with my wife and 2 kids. The house was good but I knew could have some areas improved to make it the perfect home for my family. I wanted to take down a wall, add pot lights, add custom cabinetry, extend kitchen by adding additional matching counter with wine fridge, plus several other changes. I had a budget in mind and started my search for a good contractor who would give me confidence they will do a good job. I was skeptical of many of them with 'high' reviews. WC Meek had won awards so I asked them to come give me a quote along with 2 other contractors. WC Meek did an amazing job, from the beginning, they gave me a breakdown of costs no other contractor would. They told me what I can expect and had autocad drawings to ensure I knew exactly what was built and where. Hands down I will use them again, their team was amazing, my family loves the reno and new home. Thank you WC Meek team!! Chris

We have had many renovations done to our home, from the inside, to the exterior envelope. We have used highly rated, award winning renovation companies in the past...but they were not nearly as good as W.C. Meek. We will not have anyone else in our home but the good folks at W.C. Meek - trust worthy, competent, and extremely ethical. The project that W.C. Meek did for us was the most invasive project we've ever done... our kitchen. Most invasive... and the least stressful out of any renovation we've ever done. Highly recommend!!!

I wanted to change the floor plan of my newly purchased 2100 square foot condo to take advantage of the natural southern light. This involved taking down some walls, moving others, putting in a new kitchen, redoing 3 bathrooms, laying new floors, soundproofing walls and ceiling and numerous other things. It was a big job. Bill’s planning and design skills were invaluable and together with the high quality of workmanship by his team and subcontractors I have ended up with a beautiful and very usable space. Bill is highly professional, well organized and has exacting standards. He provided a weekly project plan that was regularly updated with details of the work to be done. He maintained close contact with his team and with me. His team was personable, courteous and easy to work with as were the subcontractors. I would not hesitate to give Bill and his company my highest recommendation.

We hired WC Meek Design and Construction to complete a full kitchen renovation, build a covered front porch, a three season room, and a covered BBQ area. Bill was a collaborative partner in designing our projects and was able to bring our vision alive. Bill and his team were professional, pleasant and were very respectful. They took measures to ensure the construction area was clean each day (we lived in the house during construction). Any crew, trades or subcontractors, were also a pleasure to work with and spoke highly of the firm. Work was completed in the expected timeframes and post project completion, Bill has been very responsive to any concerns. We had an excellent renovation experience with WC Meek Design & Construction. Extremely professional throughout. At the first meeting, Bill Meek, met with us to get a feel for our project vision and design sensibilities. We were given a carefully itemized quote and project schedule. His designer helped us narrow down our design choices, while giving us ample opportunity for input. His tradesmen were great - careful and courteous. We ended up with an award winning ensuite that reflected exactly what we had hoped for.

Experienced and professional from the initial discussions with Bill Meek about possibilities for my bathroom describe my experience. Excellent ideas about maximizing the use of space to make room for everything that was wanted. Plans were reviewed in detail prior to commencement of the work. Bill has an amazing team who assist him. Everyone involved was very particular about the work that they do to produce high quality results. This included site cleanup that did not leave the house in a mess as the work progressed. From designer to trades people it was clear that each person enjoyed being part of the team at W. C. We hired WC Meek Design and Construction to design and renovate the entire first floor of our home; the final outcome being a gorgeous transformation of our 100 year old home! We overhauled our entire HVAC system, installed in-floor heating, opened up the back wall in the home by installing a floor to ceiling window and door system, gutted and redesigned the kitchen, and opened up the adjoining living room area. Bill Meek and his team prepared a detailed schedule for the entire project and the crew worked to the schedule. Budgets were outlined prior to the start of the project and updated as materials were chosen or altered from our original plan. Bill's crews are super tidy. We lived in our home for this renovation and appreciated the pleasant and courteous crew who were professional and respectful our home. Stellar work!

Excellent crew, all of whom show tremendous respect to Bill. Totally anxiety free renovation -- you articulate what you want, he can see your vision and make it happen. Everything is always meticulously done regardless of which one of the men is assigned and whether the job is big or small. If something goes wrong, which is rare, you know Bill will take care of it. His men have been with him for many years which says a great deal about Bill. He is not easy for me to afford, but I would not go to anyone else.
