We renovated our condo kitchen and we were looking for the right professional as this was our first major renovation job and it is also located in a condo (which usually has more restrictions than a detached home). We spoke to several contractors and eventually went with Bayview Kitchen Design. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the beginning, Biljana was extremely patient and helped us understand the ins and outs of a major renovation. We did some homework but she helped us refine our ideas and provided excellent suggestions and insightful tips from her years of experience. She was always available when we had questions or concerns and patiently worked with us to understand those concerns and come up with solutions. Once the project was settled, she provided us with 3D drawings that helped visualize our dream kitchen and worked with the contractor to get things organized. When the renovation work started, the contractors (Paul and Andrew) were extremely professional and polite. They came in with a clear plan of what needed to happen and worked with us to ensure that we are all on the same page. They provided us with a timeline and gave us clear expectations on what will happen and when. We were very happy with both Paul and Andrew as they treated our home as if it was their own. They were very careful when moving things around, worked with our building concierge to coordinate moves/elevators etc. and strictly followed the condo regulations regarding constructions, noise, hours of working etc. Furthermore, they were true professionals by arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of the day. They were also available if we had questions or concerns as the construction progressed. Finally, as the project was winding down, Biljana, Paul and Andrew worked closely with us to resolve the inevitable issues that pop up during a major renovation like this. What we really appreciated about them was their transparency in communication, willingness to listen to other ideas and come up with solutions. Just these qualities alone are worth every penny as it can make for a smooth, hassle-free process. Throughout the entire process, we were kept informed and there were clear lines of communications. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Bayview Kitchen Design. We were super lucky that we got such quality professionals on our first major renovation project as good, reliable and professional designers and contractors are hard to find. Bayview Kitchen Design is by no means the cheapest option in the market but with them, we can attest that you will get your money's worth. From clear, transparent communications to high-quality work, the team delivered everything they said they would (and much more). We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. We are planning to renovate our bathrooms in the near future and we will go with Bayview Kitchen Design for those renovations as well, without any hesitation.

We decided to renovate our kitchen in 2018. For almost two years we searched for the right firm. In 2020 we luckily met with Biljana. She was so professional and was willing to listen to what we needed in our kitchen. She is a very good designer, practical and detail oriented. She is warm and fun to work with. What started as a “Kitchen Reno” is now complete with utmost satisfaction of the entire “Main Floor Reno” - A Big Thank you to Biljana and Paul from Bayview Kitchen Design. After spending hours searching for a one stop shop for our Kitchen Reno, we decided on Bayview Kitchen Design. From the initial phone conversation, to in person meeting at our home and the visit to the showroom gave us the confidence to proceed with BKD. We were able to see all the different finishes and Biljana's creative designs in the showroom. Once we completed the initial planning/discussion stage with Biljana, we met Paul, the Project Manager who made as more at ease and gave all the confidence we needed to proceed with them both. From then on, we never felt we are speaking to someone from a Design/Reno company, it was like we knew them for long. The interactions were very personable and professional. Biljana is extremely talented with her design works, she listened to what we wanted, provided her ideas and came up with a design that we would not have thought of. The kitchen is very functional, have all the bells and whistles it needed for daily use and for entertainment. She also designed a modern mantle for our family room fire place. Biljana came with us to various stores to choose tiles, back splash, faucet, sink, etc. Having her with us when choosing the items made us feel at ease as she exactly knew what we wanted, what is practical and what will be the best for our new kitchen. Paul is a perfectionist, he is very patient, calm and does the required work quickly and efficiently. He’s got great knowledge and experience which was very clear in every suggestion/decision he made. From the planning to completion, from the cabinetry to flooring, to final touches of all the minor details on our home were all completed by BKD to our utmost satisfaction. We are absolutely delighted with our gorgeous new kitchen! After meeting Biljana and seeing her fabulous showroom, we knew we had finally found the right company to help us make our ideas for a new kitchen become the reality we wanted. It was so good to finally meet a designer who took the time and effort to draw plans that were specific to our needs and space. Biljana's help with choosing accessories, was also greatly appreciated. She has excellent taste, and we are so happy with how everything has pulled together to create our dream kitchen. Bljana is a true professional, and it was a pleasure working with her to design a kitchen that fully utilized the space we had to its best advantage. He is a perfectionist, and has a lovely, quiet demeanour. He works very hard, and is extremely neat. He will readily accommodate any change you want along the way. He is able to see out of the box, and he readily finds solutions to little issue which crop up, and works in conjunction with your needs and wants. Chris can work magic with crooked ceilings, and is a consummate cabinet fitter. We enjoyed his sense of humour, and are thrilled with the way he managed to make our kitchen cabinets look absoletuley wonderful. Thank you, Chris! All the tradesmen used my Bayview Kitchen Design were thoroughly professional and did sterling work - from the tiler to the electrician to the painters. You were all the very best. We are currently loving our new, clean and beautiful space. All who visit comment that it really is a beautiful, timeless kitchen, with a calm and peaceful feel to the room. Paul and Bilijana did an amazing job. From design to execution = a quality project that was on time, on budget. The attention to detail was simply amazing and went beyond what other potential firms demonstrated to us in the search stage. The Cambria counters are stunning and the installation was outstanding. Bilijana has an eye for design, detail, color, a great relationship with tile, appliance and accessory suppliers and more. The stunning kitchen is a “wow” with friends and family and a pleasure to wine and dine in. Highly recommended and will use Paul and Bilijana for other projects.

Had the pleasure to work with Biljana for a complete kitchen renovation. We had Paul & Bilyana design our kitchen last year. We went from a galley kitchen, dining room and dinette (which was never used as a room and more of a walkway) to giving us a fantastic open design and everyone loves it. Gorgeous stainless steel backsplash, huge island that is now our main place to stop when guests are over and I've even learned to cook and like it!!! We had such a great experience that we hired them for our bathroom remodel and it's being done now.

In stages (satisfied with first stage, so continued): Kitchen (custom cabinets, cork floor, island, counters, lighting, aka the works), pantry (tile floor, custom cabinets, counters, lighting, aka the works), one full bathroom (the works), one half bathroom (cabinets, sink, toilet, mirror), cabinets (plus flooring) in hallway between one bathroom and adjoining bedroom, closet in entrance hallway, plus lots of painting and small extra jobs. Went for quality and got it, at expense. Small corrections all made, most in reasonable time. Would seriously consider hiring them to complete the renovations.

We hired Bayview Kitchens to redo our kitchen in our condo and we are extremely satisfied with the end result. Their professionalism right from design to final installation was superb. We did not experience any of the problems people normally complain about renos, trades and workmanship. The quality of the kitchen cabinets, counter tops, lighting, flooring, and back splash was outstanding. The workmanship of Paul Salituro and the installation crew was superior. Always showed up on time, finished early, cleaned up after every visit, polite and respectful and everything was top grade quality. Not one thing went wrong which I would say is very unusual. They were always responsive when we called or emailed them. The quality of all the trades that Bayview brought in were superior. All cabinets and counter tops, sink, faucet and flooring was truly top quality. Our condo had access issues and each time a delivery was required they were there to supervise the deliver and assist with access to our condo. This doesn't sound like much but I can assure it it could have been a huge problem. They managed the issue really well. And best of all there was no wavering on price. It was quoted and it ended up as quoted with no variances except for additions we added like lighting. Unbelievable, I'd say and very honourable. We liked the work so much that we agreed for them to build a custom cabinet for a second bedroom. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone and would hire them in a second if I needed more done in our condo.

One look at Biljana's wonderfully designed showroom and I was hooked. I had found the kitchen and the designer I wanted to work with. Her ideas, advice and support resulted in a beautifully designed and totally workable kitchen and laundry room. She patiently helped me decide on the kitchen countertop and suggested the display cabinet above my pantry which I love. As well, her knowledge of lighting resulted in a well-lit work space. I would definitely recommend Biljana and Paul Salituro, the contractor. In addition to the kitchen, Paul was responsible for building me a storage closet in my entranceway and adding a new ceiling with pot lights in the hallway. It was a lucky day for me when I stopped into Bayview Kitchen Design.

My husband and I decided to renovate our kitchen and met with Biljana who was referred to us by a friend. My friend had a good experience in dealing with Biljana, her creativity, innovation and attention to detail. I am more than pleased with my new kitchen, we have been creating great meals, and enjoying it with friends and family. Three different renovated kitchens, three different homes in Toronto’s Annex, the escarpment in Stoney Creek and now downtown in renewed Hamilton. All have one thing in common - the deft touch of Biljana McDowell. Cooking a gourmet meal has never been easier with Biljana’s smart practical layout and design. Silent drawers that are sized so Marta and I can fit a complete set of 11 pots into a single drawer, all the bottles of oil and vinegar fitting neatly into another easy to pullout drawer, and plenty of space for everything from groceries to the “good” Mexican dishes. At small family dinners or large parties everyone gathers in the kitchen. As we planned the kitchen is the focal point of the house and entertaining. Adding to economy of scale is superb workmanship that has stood the test of time and my occasional abuse. Unlike some designers Biljana actually listens to what you want and delivers your own dream not a copy of some trendy kitchen in a glossy. Add design genius, fun, warm, creative, practical, detailed, great to work with. Did I say cost-conscious? I would hire Biljana a fourth time except my wife would kill me if we ever move again.
