I am sorry you expected completion in 6 weeks,that was certainly a misunderstanding. That would be an average projection time for a full kitchen and or bathroom renovation if we did not stop work over the holidays. We completed a kitchen and bathroom first so you could have one functioning during the renovation. The second bathroom and laundry room and powder room were done after the holidays. I did suggest tiling entire wall of the kitchen, and realized that you did not want that at first but changed your mind after we completed the kitchen, which was fine, we returned to add that.
As I know you are a designer, I hesitated to overstep your decisions as you were helping your brother through the reno, and he obviously waited for any decisions to be made pending your expert and trusted advice.
Since my contractors have worked with me for 25 years, phone communication as well as few site visits seems suffice. I was there when they needed me, not always communicated to you.
It is awfully messy through such a big renovation, and sometimes during the day your visits found the site at its worse. My son who installs cabinets was also sent periodically to oversee the cleanliness of site, but will send him more often and try to improve on the cleaning, thanks for that input.
We are glad that after the painful process you are satisfied with your results.
