I would give zero stars if I could. Please save yourself the nightmare and go with another builder. My house has substandard work, is incomplete, and full of liens from subcontractors that Bella Vita did not pay, even though the draws for that were taken from my construction loan. They did this to a lot of people, and now they do not have the funds to finish our home. Now they have gone silent and are making zero effort to help our situation. My lawyer tells me they have a long line of lawsuits growing, multiple large judgements against them already, and used our funds illegally. My wife and I have actually filed with the DA against individual's criminal behaviour within the company, as there are no assets to go after to recover our funds. But we hope the DA getting involved can stop them from doing this to others. Their project manager has told us twice that our house is done. Meanwhile, our balcony is unfinished with a temporary support. There are holes in interior siding and drywall, as well as uninstalled light fixtures sitting on the floor(for over 4 months now). Outside there is a very large section of missing wooden siding, as well as damaged stucco that they damaged during construction and never repaired. We have been left to take care of the liens and finish the home ourselves. We may even lose our home because of the hole Bella Vita has put us in. Go with anyone else but these guys.
