Cyrus has been a professional carpenter for the past 27 years. He created Beasley Woodworks LLC in 2008 and draws from a wide range of experiences to offer his customers beautiful 3D renderings, professional expertise and exceptional attention to detail. Cyrus graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Biology and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years. He went on to build elite level racing hulls for Resolute Boats, Bristol, RI, for the sport of rowing. Cyrus' composite design Single from 2002, hangs in the Smithsonian Museum. From there, he moved on to build custom homes for Sweenor Builders and realized his true talent as a Custom Home Builder. In 2008, Beasley Woodworks was created as a Custom Design-Build Firm. Cyrus has an engineering background, has been sailing all of his life and competed in the 1996 Olympics as a rower in the Men’s Single. He resides in Charlestown with his wife Julia, and three children.

We were fortunate enough to have Beasley Woodworks as the contractors for an extensive master suite/front hall addition to our house. Cyrus and crew were knowledgeable and personable from the design stages through the intricate finishing touches of the renovation and we feel very fortunate that we chose Beasley Woodworks of the many contractors we interviewed. They worked tirelessly to maintain the integrity and feel of our cottage style, beach community home and the end result was stunning. In fact, we were so pleased that we worked with Cyrus Beasley for further remodels subsequent to our original plans! His very evident personal attention, from the smallest detail to his sub-contractors, results in meticulous and quality construction and we recommend him without reservation.

Cyrus and his team completely transformed the kitchen in our circa 1972 house, working closely with our architect and kitchen designer (both of whom were very happy to hear that we had chosen him for the project--which says a lot right there). The work was done on time and on budget, and we will be working with him again this spring to create a master suite, mud room, and other updates to the house. Cyrus is a consummate craftsman, and hires subs who are equally skilled. His crew is respectful and clean, and made the experience of spending weeks with no kitchen as painless as possible. Cyrus is responsive and helped guide us through the work, tactfully steering us in other directions if what we were asking for was not a good idea! We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Cyrus!

I cannot say enough about the quality of the work I have had done by Beasley Woodworks. They have done a complete new kitchen in my own home, as well as various projects in investment properties. The craftsmanship is outstanding, with great attention to detail. I have also been pleased with the prompt response to phone calls or other forms of communication. Very professional!

We are very pleased with the work Cyrus Beasley did for us. He tackled a number of renovation projects last year. This included two bathrooms, our kitchen and a bedroom. This year he is building a new garage. He displays a nice balance of doing what we ask and making suggestions that will improve the project. His design for the garage draws positive comments from anyone who passes by. His woodwork is exceptional. He also hires hard-working, competent and conscientious workers who make a point of cleaning up when they are finished.

When we purchased our oceanfront condo, we knew there would be major renovations ahead. It was built in the 1980's and had not been remodeled or redecorated, and non-bearing walls obstructed some views. We had a vision but needed a good contractor to carry out our plans. Cyrus was recommended by our realtor and we could not have been happier with our choice. He was wonderful to work with, meeting deadlines and budget and was always available to answer any questions or meet with us to discuss project plans. His easy-going personality and professional knowledge kept us calm throughout the months of the project. He worked extremely well with our interior designer and his crew was very competent and reliable. Our biggest project in renovating was the kitchen whose walls closed in the area. Through his expertise, Cyrus was able to create a beautiful open space that gave our condo a WOW factor upon entering. His woodworking talents were invaluable throughout the project. We are so pleased with all the renovations and are thankful to Cyrus for making our vision a reality.

Absolute masters of their craft is the only way to describe the team at Beasley Woodworks. My wife and I bought a turn of the century Victorian cottage with clean lines in the beautiful seaside town of Narragansett, RI. It needed a lot of work, and we really wanted to transform it from a simple Victorian to a more classic, shingle-style home. But we saw so many beautiful old homes ruined by renovations that missed the mark, and we were apprehensive at best. We could not have made a wiser choice for this critical renovation. Our home is a showpiece. Everyone just assumes that it is an original shingle-style design from 1890. From his original sketchup (yeah, these guys crank out google sketchups as concepts) to the final product, we were promised thoughtful design and quality work. We got both and then some.
