Barbara Cuson Architect

Barbara Cuson studied architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S., M. Arch.) as well as a year at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. She is a long-time Atlanta resident and has over 30 years of experience in residential architecture and design. She enjoys working in Atlanta’s in-town neighborhoods, and is experienced in navigating the building permit process. Her specialties lie in additions (from expanded footprint to the addition of a second story), renovations (whole house, kitchens, bathrooms, master bedrooms and bathrooms), outdoor spaces (decks, porches, hardscape) and complete home construction. She also has experience with ADA accessible homes as well as universal design. Most importantly, she understands the highly personal nature of the home itself and believes that your home should be your sanctuary as well as one of your biggest and most reliable investments. From the beginning of the project to the end, she is dedicated to helping you achieve your vision for your home.
