Jackie with Basil+Tate is an extremely talented designer. She helped turn our blank-slate new build into the home of our dreams. I had a million ideas that she streamlined into a beautiful, calm, inviting space.

I am in love with the design Jackie from Basil & Tate brought to my home! Jackie was exceptional at considering our tastes and providing tons of storage for toys and miscellaneous items. The design is so perfect. It's easy to keep looking clean and beautiful and it's totally kid proof! I would recommend Jackie and her team at Basil & Tate for any design project!

I loved working with Jackie and her team! Jackie listened to what I wanted, answered questions, provided choices for me, and was a joy to work with! The finished design is beyond what I could have even imagined! I can’t wait to work with Jackie again!!

Jackie is amazing - she re-designed our front living room into a simply beautiful space. Jackie is so easy to work with and gave me as much control over the experience as I wanted. I really like how she provides options to chose from. Jackie is responsive, timely, professional and great to work with. We are currently working together on two other rooms!

Jackie and the team at Basil + Tate helped us transform our entire first floor that was in major need of updating. Her vision was spot on and her guiding us through the entire project, from coordinating with the contractor for a fireplace remodel and wood work, helping to pick out new paint colors, ordering all the furniture, and then accessorizing was such a big help. She really listened to our vision and how we live in the spaces and designed to fit all our needs.

For anyone who has gone through a remodel, you know the challenges that come with this event. Jackie was front & center through this entire process from idea generation to putting final touches on decor. She was able to take our scattered vision & make it a beautiful reality. She is the perfect combination of wickedly talented designer & expert shopper, coupled with attentive listener & creative problem-solver. Jackie has a very special place in my heart, and now a lasting presence in the house she helped make a home.

I cannot say enough about Jackie Newell and her design work at Basil & Tate! If you need anyone to help make your room/home feel like it finally fits YOU, and that you live in a liveable magazine...she is your gal! She is so patient (she worked with me for heavens sake). She has an eye for the smallest details that make the biggest impact! Trust her and let her do her magic! She’s sooooo amazing!!!!

I came to Jackie with a big ask and a difficult design dilemma for my home office-- I needed a large work surface, plenty of functional but stylish storage, and I didn't want to see any cords! She delivered on everything! I love my home office; it is so "me" and I truly enjoy being in the space now. I love it and I loved working with Jackie!"

We LOVED working with Basil + Tate! Jackie has a positive can-do attitude that is contagious from the minute you meet with her to discuss your design vision. We couldn’t wait to get started... Jackie is incredibly easy to work with and a great communicator. She really listened to our likes and dislikes in terms of our design preferences and most importantly created beautiful spaces within our budget. We are so happy with our newly designed rooms that we are can’t wait to hire her for our next project.

Working with Basil + Tate was a dream! The transformation of our living room is not only beautiful, it's totally functional. We literally LIVE in this room and it used to cause me so much anxiety. Now, it's our favorite room in the house. I didn't even realize what a positive and dramatic impact that would have on our life. Jackie is an exceptional designer and also a thoughtful listener. She took the time to understand our frustrations and our lifestyle (in addition to our taste), and came back with a design we LOVED! I'm chomping at the bit to get started on other rooms in the house with Basil + Tate!!!
