We hired Barclay for an interior color consultation. Barclay provided an expert eye in helping us choose the right colors for our home. She was warm and personal. She gave us larger paint samples than you find in the store, so you can really see the true color and try it out in different lights. Barclay helped our school add drapery panels to the school auditorium. She helped us stay on budget and we ended up with a lovely looking finished product that met the needs of the school and really makes our auditorium shine. Barclay recommended the fabric, fixtures and tie-backs; coordinated with the seamstress and was present for the entire installation.

I hired Barclay Stone Interiors to help me select paint colors, design custom drapery treatments and select artwork for my Living Room and Dining Rooms. We gave her a "nail biter" Christmas deadline (which was only about a month away) and she was able to accomodate our requests. The results were fantastic! The Living Room is now finished! During the process, Barclay was super accommodating to my 3 children, brand new dog, and my husband constantly being on the phone. She was very personable and listened to all my ideas. Together, we created a "grown up" space that is extremely functional, comfortable and beautiful! Barclay also helped me design our Family Room and Dining Room. I enjoy working with Barclay and hope to work with her again!

We have a wonderful home on the water on Cape Cod that had gotten dated; especially the lovely front hall and winding stair case. We asked Barclay if she could give it a face lift. What a transformation! She choose a beautiful airy wall paper that makes a huge difference. I next asked her if she would take on a guest suite.. Once again, she did not disappoint. Next summer she will finish the guest suite and we look forward to giving her additional challenges.

During our 2 room makeover, Barclay demonstrated her expertise while keeping the customer objectives a priority when selecting fabrics, furniture, fixtures. Jobs were completed on time. My Project involving Barclay Stone Interiors was for initially for wiindow treatments through out my bedrooms. Barclay responded promptly to my inquiry and met me in my home to discuss options and perform exact measurements. She guided me through selecting the finish and custom upgrades like the fabric accents all within my budget. She managed the order and provided installation options. She also provided design consultation for my Master Bedroom color pallet and rug. I was pleased with Barclay's ability to truly listen to my needs and articulate her ideas all within the budget I provided. I was relieved the experience was stress free.

In 2013, we completed our dream home and we needed an interior designer to make the inside as beautiful as the exterior. Barclay's incredible vision for the space as well as her superb color choices created rooms that were inviting and elegant. We also needed a few pieces of furniture to fill the larger space and her recommendations were spot on. We could not have done it without her.

Barclay Interiors helped me with interior design projects throughout my house. These projects included my Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Playroom, Dining and Living Rooms. Barclay offered several options dealing with all aspects of the rooms including wall and window treatments, furniture recovering, flooring and lighting. Barclay did a wonderful job helping me figure out my style and preferences. Her energy and excitement towards working on each room was evident as she insisted on making sure the room was perfect – down to the last tassel. The true gem of Barclay’s work is in the final design and finished product. The trims, finishes, and layout have very special, unique and interesting details. Barclay did a great job managing my budget and she was always willing to offer substitutions so I could decide how much I wanted to spend on each piece. Barclay is simply superb! I've worked with her on several projects and can't wait to get started on a kitchen redesign, master BA upgrade and a screen porch addition in the coming weeks! Barclay is not pushy or intimidating in her approach. She knows design and is very thoughtful and thorough when working on a project before just jumping in. One of Barclay's strengths is that she can use items her clients already have but she also knows what to eliminate in a room and what new pieces need to be added to make the room come together in a harmonious, balanced and fresh way. I have used Barclay for several projects. She goes beyond paint color and a scheme and has a great understanding and knowledge of fabric and knows the importance and impact of carpet and flooring. She has two other great strengths. She is adept at accessorizing, from bed linens to lamps to cache pots! She also has amazing trims! From tiny sea shells on my Florida drapery to wooden beads on the hem of a chair. Always appropriate but sometimes whimsically unexpected! The best part is she's great to work with. Always mindful of the budget, completes projects on time and does it all with a smile!

When my law firm opened a new office and needed help decorating the reception area, Barclay was the first designer I thought of. I knew she would provide the classic, professional look we needed. I also knew that she would conscientiously work within our budget. The end result was a beautiful reception area that makes our clients feel welcome and at ease. And she did it all remotely using email and a very fun Pinterest board. We are so happy with Barclay's work and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer.
