We had the privilege of working with Aubrey to update our decor as well as plan and design a major renovation of our home. Aubrey is a very talented designer that clearly has vision. Her easygoing nature and professional approach made us very comfortable with the process from start to finish. Aubrey really listened to what was important to us in terms of style, functionality and budget and made thoughtful recommendations on details that we never would have thought of or realized that we wanted. We have worked with Aubrey twice - and both experiences were excellent. In our first home, an older 800 square foot raised bungalow, Aubrey worked with us on a very tight budget and helped us to focus on getting the maximum value from each dollar spent. We ended up living in that space for years longer than planned because of the floorplan, aesthetics and efficientiences that Aubrey's plan created. Our more recent project with Aubrey was a major renovation of the first floor of our 1500 square foot space. Aubrey once again brought, wisdom, vision, focus and reality to our plan. The kitchen design could not be better! Ensuring the new kitchen with modern amenities worked with the test of the older house, maintaining the 'old world charm' while creating good use of space all seemed easy to Aubrey. We would, and do, recommend Aubrey to anyone looking to improve the space. She is a gem with patience, humour and great taste. Aubrey was always willing to work around our particular situation (unrealistic expectations, short timelines, tight budgets, old pieces to incorporate etc.)

We hired Aubrey to help with a master bathroom renovation. The bathroom was quite small, with a small shower and open shelving that was not conducive to orderly storage. Without increasing the size of the bathroom, Aubrey managed to make a small space into a very functional bathroom with a larger shower and plenty of storage that eliminates the clutter. She also chose colours and finishes that made the bathroom flow with the rest of the house, We are very happy with our new master bathroom.

We considered ourselves to be relatively experienced renovators but quickly learned that the condo experience was quite different. Aubrey has a wonderful combination of technical & creative skills & helped more than anything to problem solve & come up with really ‘smart’ options. We have had the pleasure of working with Aubrey on several home renovations over many years and continue to be extremely pleased with Aubrey’s talent and skills, eye for detail, thoroughness and professionalism. With our most recent renovation, Aubrey transformed a 100+ year old home into a masterpiece, maintaining and respecting the beautiful classic elements and yet introducing many modern finishings. She worked on the project from beginning (before we even purchased the home) to the present, where we continue to to defer to her expertise on the final decorating touches. She worked very collaboratively with our contractor at every step. We would highly recommend Aubrey!

Aubrey has been great to work with, and has been a great resource to both Wilowbrook Homes and our clients. Her passion, creativity, visualization, and ability to communicate with clients has been instrumental in assisting in improving the client experience, and delivering on a great home or renovation as applicable. Her drawings are excellent to work from both builder and trades. Aubrey is an excellent listener, which is key to understanding the clients desires. Ability to meet timelines for deliverables, and work within client budgets are a key skill set that Aubrey brings to her projects.
